| Jean has really grown up to me as the most likable recruit right now from just a mere privileged side character at his feud with Eren.Marco described him perfectly.Forging yourself to move forward after being sensitive enough to take in the pains of his comrades take a lot of will power.Although their goal converges he is the antithesis of Eren. Disclosing the plan by the commander to everyone might be a deliberate attempt to chaff out the "enemy".The next epi would be interesting |

| Nice to see that many people still joining Survey Corps even if its for Eren. You really need to be not afraid to look death in the eyes if your joining this division. I'm really looking forward of seeing their journey outside the wall |
| oh man, I didn't realize Eren hadn't found out about Marco yet. He was tossed about across so many various corners of the law, he hadn't actually had a moment with his squad even once since before the titans broke through the 2nd wall. crazy. anyway, sad to see best girl Annie leave the focus of the series by heading for the MP, although that was clearly her intention from the beginning. |

| I'm counting this as more of a filler episode because nothing really happened tbh. It was entertaining, but got boring every once in a while. Despite how much of easy bait I am for quite a lot of anime when it comes to emotional aspects I didn't really feel emotional for Marco's death. RIP Marco, but sorry I just couldn't feel for you man.. (Well I mean I felt bad, but not anywhere close to tearing up or crying). |

| In the end, the culprit was yet to be found and Jean is really taking time to think about Marco's death, sad times Only a few of them that were determined enough to join the Survey Corps and comparing from all of the people that left is really a low percentage But glad that they got reunited again and Mikasa scares me sometimes she doesn't even care about Levi lol, Time to put all that faith in Eren for the expedition. |

| Amazing episode, now we know who the real men are. All who joined the survey corps. ______________________________________________________________________________________ REWATCHING THE SERIES 05.03.2023 I meant to add and women to my previous comment: "Now we know who the real men and women are." Marco's death inspired Jean to join the survey corps. Very touching. What Annie told Connie is the best possible answer to a question like that: "Choose how you'll die for yourself." Armin is smart, I asked the same question as he did: WHY ON EARTH DID ERWIN REVEAL THE SECRET OF EREN'S BASEMENT? I sympathize with Connie's reason to join the military police. His whole purpose of leaving his village was to join the M.P. and get recognition, however he stayed true to himself and to a higher purpose. It's like the sorting hat; the M.P. is full of capable yet, cowardly soldiers; the Garrison is full of those who want a better life apart from the extreme factor; and the Survey Corps, well, they are the ones willing to end it all on behalf of mankind, this one is filled with virtuous people. SASHA STAYED!! I'm surprised no one laughed when Captain Ness was being chewed on by Shallot.  Marco's death is still raw for Jean. I feel for him. I understand Jean's interrogatives with Eren. Everyone is practically risking their lives for a cause they don't understand. They need closure on whether it's safe to trust Eren's power? |

| erwin's speech.. DAMN. and out of all that few hundreds of people, not even 20 joined. that might be better than having more but secretly not wanting to be there though. eren reuniting with his friends and getting news of marco's death was really touching |

| It's strange that Jean thinks of Eren as a normal person when he thinks about what Eren said before, remembering then Jean still didn't know that humans like Eren could turn into titans. Didn't expect Marco to have such a big influence on Jean Now that I think about it, the conversation between Annie and Armin was quite funny, as was Sasha. When she was in Trost, she went ahead and called everyone cowards while now she's scared. When Eren and Mikasa reunite, I expect a mother's hug more than a handshake. The sight of Marco wearing a survey corps cloak really moved me. Though we're not sure if he wants to join survey corps. |

| The titans that were captured were killed, the survey corps have some new recruits, and their heading out of wall Rosa. I love where this is going! I have to wonder if we'll ever find out who killed those titans though. I had a feeling it was Jean or Connie but now I'm not sure |

| Weirdly, my favourite moment of this episode was seeing Eren smile to himself as he saw the children look in awe at the survey corps, he sees some part of himself in them. Touching moment. |
