| The scientist guy was pretty cool, with his theory of life evolving on mars and then starting in Japan from the remnants of an asteroid, or something. But in the end, I think the girl who got her head blown off was more evocatively characterized. |
| I'm partial to that tree near the second encounter. It had a very green, lush feel to it, and its existence and relevance to the plot exceeded that of anyone else. So yeah, the second tree from the right around ten minutes in. My favorite character. |

| It's a shame how the girl who got her head blown off has such a large fanbase. I mean, it's lovely that a character like her could become so popular, but it seems like most of the fanbase don't really understand the importance of her character or even the essence of her. In fact, I think most of the fans don't understand what this show is really about. Though I guess that's to be expected when a work of art like this starts becoming popular. |

| The headshot girl, of course. Her role was amazingly important, and she was the most well-developed character of them all. Her head was so pretty desu. This is epicness expressed in its most pure form. The head explosion dissapearence, the decapitated body falling to the ground, the epic story, the epic characters, the epic AAUG (Or whatever that organization was called), and even more deep antagonists made me rage against MAL for not having an 11 (BEST ANIME EVER) score. I wonder why the guy in the emo armor didn't headshot the "bad guy?"... I lso wonder why the antagonist's side kicks sounded like they where gargling something. |

| I will vote the girl that got her head blown off but personally my favorite is the doctor that after many years of learning can come to the conclusion that you may not make it if you get your head blown off. |
