| well... HNK is no longer part of Sueisha so I didn't expect something like remake or a new movie. |

| You guys should actually watch it, the series is hysterical and Hokuto fans would eat up the humour. Trust me, you don't want a sequel to the original anime; the arcs in Hokuto no Ken 2 are bad enough, and the ones that follow them in the manga are even worse. It clearly shows that Buronson wanted to end it at Raoh because the writing takes a huge downturn after Raoh. People wanted more Hokuto after Raoh even though Buronson wanted to end it, and what you get are crappy hackneyed and contrived arcs that sully the franchise's credibility. Yes a modern remake of the first anime series (or again, up to the end of Raoh's arc) would be the optimal choice, but this is still good in its own right. |
