I was actually thinking about giving the second episode a chance until that last line from Emi which pretty much killed that idea. I didn't really have much for expectations going in, but I was certainly hoping for something better than this... |

| Hearing the lead characters' voice reminded me of the atrocity that is Kazuki from Dragonaut. lawlz. and judging from the 1st episode, Kouchi will probably be one hell of a douchebag. I can't say I was impressed by the episode. generic CG mech battles, a very cliche premise and the lead character likely to be an asshole in the next couple of episodes, I can't say I'll be putting this high on my priority list. the only positive I can say about it is the Ending song. Hearing Maaya Sakamoto's angelic voice was just awesome. |

| Seriously, this show contains not one ounce of originality. Interestingly though, the initiation of Linebarrel corresponds with Kira's start-up of the Strike Gundam in Seed almost identically. Also, ARMA's = Zaku's ;] |
| very..very cliche..i heard the manga is completely different.....but it's entertaining..i'll use this as my "fun mecha" and have gundam 00 season 2 as my "serious mecha" lol |

| A teenager is caught in a life-and-death situation during a terrorist attack. He meets a mysterious girl who gives him a power that makes his eyes glow pink. He then proceeds to beat the heck out of the bad guys. Sound familiar? I wasn't expecting this to be a masterpiece, so I'm not really disappointed. I'll have to wait the traditional four episodes to get a good idea where this is going, I guess. Something that really annoyed me was the rough hatching they put on almost every character's face. And the fact that almost all the staff monitoring Linebarrel were busty women, but then that's anime. Kouchi's obviously going to be a douche with a hero complex, but at least they come out and admit that. So maybe he's redeemable. |

| I just wanna know why the fuck Gonzo persists on doing these shitty CG designs for every series they touch. They're so goddamn ugly. Mechas, robots, etc almost always look better animated normally. Especially when it's Gonzo's horrendous CG animation. They just don't get it. My biggest impression though: Dragonaut 2008. ^ not a good thing. |

| FINALLY SAW IT! I LOVE IT! It's great! The art is cool! KIZAKI......OH YEAH! Really well done. The factor activation was just like in the manga maybe better. They kind went fast on the first episode but I find ok if one reads the manga first. Risako was well done too. EVERYONE don't be SURPRISED by the BOOB FACTOR cause it's GONZO. We all know what they did with Strike Witches.......NE? I AM ALL IN! LineBarrels is well done. I like all the screens with military tactical data since MILITARY IS A SPECIALTY OF MINES. :) The fight was good and the BLOOD, man just like in the manga. The replicas are shit obviously but I still HATE THE FACT that people get killed in this town just cause BAD ASS ROBOTS FIGHT! Oh well! HIGHLIGHTS RISAKO!!!!!!!!!!!!  KIZAKI BEING NAKED HOT! FACTOR ACTIVATION! Better this one than one in manga.  LINEBARRELS ROCKS'N'ROLLS!  LOVE THE DESTRUCTION SEQUENCES!  |

| main character could be more cool... generally the music is fine and animation is really, really good. I'd like to see the mecha scenes in hd. Heh anyway the Hero of Justice is annoying... will see in the next eps if the show improves. for now, looking forward to it |

| Wow it was pretty good if you put aside the cliches. One cliche I didnt see yet is the whiny boy pilot that doesnt want to and/or is forced to pilot a mech. |
| Much worse than I expected, at least the sane people here also think that. It would have helped a little if the main character wasn't so irritating to top it all off. I'm gonna check the manga later to see if it's better. |

| - i cant seem to drop this without hearing kugimiya rie/aya hirano's voice(with at least 2 lolis in the ED, im betting those two will be their roles) - and lulz at lelouch being the evil guy. - noto mamiko's voice is still that mellow, innocent girl voice reminiscent of nogizaka/hecate - after i hear kugimiya/aya's voice(hopefully that's on ep 2) im dropping this one. LULZ. or not. but as of now, this one is droppable. |

| I don't have a soft spot for Mecha, but I didn't think it was as awful as you guys seem to think it is. It was simply okay. It didn't give me a spark that I like my anime to give me, so I might continue it, might not. All depends on how the next few episodes go. |

| Unlike the story, the cast is actually good. We have Noto Mamiko, Fukuyama Jun, Hirano Aya and Kugimiya Rie to name a few. I doubt this will get better. I was actually expecting something out of this. All I have to say it: Gonzo, WTF? Also lol at Koichi's crazy laugh. |

| Gonzo managed to take a mediocre-at-best mecha manga and turn it into a gigantic steaming pile of shit. But hey, at least Gonzo has become rather consistent over the past few years at making horrible anime with even more horrible CGI. I feel really bad for the company who paid to bail them out of bankruptcy because I can only see them continuing to fall apart in the next year or two (if they last that long). |

| I didn't have high expectations since it's a Gonzo production but I still didn't expect it to be so cliche and unoriginal. But I do like how the art is 80s style. |
