| Let me confess, the only thing that keeps me watching this show is the mystery of Guvava. I mean, what the hell Guvava is? A loli chewbacca? And what's up with the music coming out of nowhere? Basara opens his mouth and there's guitar, drums and shit. Basara's on the road looking for answers. Wants to know why he sings. Come on, Basara, we trust you, someday you'll make a song that won't be a total crap. |

| Re-watching:So far, humans/Zentraedi have been the only casualties, whether being killed while under mind control by their own comrades or killed/Spiritia-sucked in battle by the enemy forces. Yet, Macross 7 seems to have more sympathy for the enemy. In episodes like this it is really apparent and it is quite funny/weird. |
| This was probably the first (?) episode where Basara's song felt unnatural...I mean, he was singing without any instruments, but they were playing in the background. The show failed to stick to the idea of using the band's songs as the BGM (previously we always could see them play the actual song or something like that; or at least the soundtrack from Fire Bomber or Macross Plus or whatever was playing from someone's speaker, etc) How can I be so picky jeez |

| I just realized that Basara's musical aura was so powerful, when Sivil tried to absorb it, Basara blew all of her clothes off, which is why she's currently comatose and naked. Okay. Also, when Gigile was draining people in the park area, why were there so many people walking around in the park at night anyways? That aside, "If we wake up G3 by breaking the shield, what if she goes berserk in the ship?" "I'll take responsibility." How do you take responsibility for potentially destroying your entire ship and killing your entire crew? |
