| I will always love Maes Hughes from FMA. Great dad that gave his life for his country. I can't really think of other dads...only ones i can remember were either assholes and the cause of a character's trauma or never around. I guess Light's dad from Death Note may count as well since he did care for his son enough to do whatever it took to prove his innocence. |

| I think I posted in this but I'll post again anyway. Daikichi from Usagi Drop - Um...anime version, not the manga. I saw the anime before reading the manga...reading the manga afterward scarred me for life...after I told a friend who also saw the anime and liked it, he did the Darth Vader "NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!" cry. Isshin Kurosaki - As BAD as the Bleach anime is and how stupid/boring a lot of the characters are, Isshin is anything but. He's goofy, he's loving and overprotective of his daughters, he likes to beat up and get beaten up by Ichigo, oh and he's a Maes Hughes - Considering how much he won't shut up about his daughter, I'd say he's a pretty good dad. lol |
