| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The first half was loosely based on the second manga chapter, but instead of hunting the lion's prey, Gon just fooled around in anime (and if I'm not mistaken, that animal's a saber-tooth lion/tiger here, while in manga he's an ordinary male lion). It was enjoying. I haven't finished reading the manga, so I don't know if the latter half is based of it, but I kinda doubt. It was one of those cliche stories about cocky narcissus human (peacock this time). But it's a kids show and that's educating, so who cares. Overall, enjoying episode, Gon's trolling just like his manga version. |
