Yeah, he left her, all thanks to his talking furniture. I don't think girls are his problem, his problem comes in the from of paranoid schizophrenia.

I actually think it was a good turn, because Satou remained very true to his character: paranoid and anal. And, we see his trust issues haven't just evaporated. This little set-back will really allow him to develop, personality-wise.

Yes. I think the actual N.H.K may be them, plotting to keep him a prisioner for life.

Misaki having weapons for arms was with out a doubt the best part of the series. It was hilarious. I liked the back tracking to him seeing NHK conspiracies in everything. Good episode, good enough I may actually finish this series.

I agree. This is a more realistic kind of reaction from a paranoid person like Satou. He can not become an optimist and positive person over a night. I like how this anime refers to other anime/manga when it comes to Satou's paranoid thoughts or imaginations.

How awful. Although, it's obvious that he will see her again, it'll probably be after a couple of painful episodes. This is the sort of thing that makes it less enjoyable. It just goes too far, even beyond genuine paranoia. To be honest I just want to see a happy ending. Forget complicated psychological storylines, I just want to laugh and smile.

It’s true what everyone’s saying. It’s just like Satou’s character to have him finally be in this good situation in his life, or at least a kind of positive turn, he has to look at it as a potential conspiracy. So he and Yamazaki follow her around, again a very paranoid type thing to be doing. The truth is though, it kind of turns out like she actually is hiding more that she appears to be, and more than she let on. I just wonder if Satou’s reaction was the right one for him to make.

How Satou's thoughts go from point A to point B eludes me. What's he going to do now, shut himself in his room for a while?

Gaaah, you people aren't putting yourselves in his shoes.

From personal experience, Satou's reason for doing this stems not only from his distrust of her but also from all the changes that have been going on in his life. Remember, he's been like this for almost FOUR YEARS. It must be extremely stressful for someone like him to do all of this in just a few months. To him, breaking off the deal is not only a sort of insurance against getting betrayed, but it's also a way for him to escape from everything and alleviate the stress that's been put on him. Remember what a hikikkimori IS. Doing something like this is completely within their nature; when things get tough, hole up in your house.

Yes, Satou! Listen to the talking furniture!

Anyway, I feel pretty bad for him. It's all cuz his thought process is so fucked up, and mental habits are extremely hard to break.

yeah, thats true, I had to remind myself of that when he yelled at her. He's come along way, I hope Kaoru and Sato can learn to trust women again, we aren't all like that.

I think that the line
"if you don't fall in love, you won't get hurt" is brilliant. I also think he's a moron for not seeing such a cute girl anymore. I guess that's what happens when your schizophrenic.

Satou's paranoia finally getting a grasp of him isn't something difficult to believe since his suspicion of Misaki's intent been building up steadily in the past few episodes. Still, I sadfaysed when he actually told her that he didn't want to see her again. :<

^also this lol

even if he's making all this progress, you have to go back to the basics; who, or what excalty is this girl? we still dont know anything about her. how can you trust someone that knows all about u, yet you dont shit about them? this is what a normal person would most likely think, now how do u think a piarnoid person would feel?
"if you don't fall in love, you won't get hurt"
this line is enough to show how some people act and feel.

I thought this was a great episode lol. Yamazaki is back to his woman hating ways :P The stalking was kind of weird, but lol wow, she's been watching him all this time?! Kind of creepy IMO O_O
TBH I like this Satou more ... it's back to what I've gotten used to lol. Oh, and I LOVE the soundtrack for this anime lol *_*
Doesn't it seem like the boy / girl roles are reversed? Lol, Satou was all tsundere and now he's doing the whole "I hate you!" + run away thing ... agh, maybe it's just me haha XD

And what happened to Yamazaki and his date? They didn't really explain that.
