Saying that on an "Anime Discussion" forum on a website called "MyAnimeList" where many users have hundreds of anime on their lists is just asking for trouble, man.

LOL!

I actually dropped anime completely for a very large portion of 2010. Things were going very bad in my life and it felt like anime would just make it all even worse, so I avoided it.

But as far as right now, no. I'll probably watch it actively for a few more years yet. Maybe when I'm like 25 and move on to other things then it might fall to the side.

If all that came out were "boring moe blob shit" as you put it, I would lose whatever life outside of anime I have left.

I have thought about it before, but then what would I watch? American TV? XD

I have too much anime that I bought to stop watching it now, anyways.

I will turn 30 this year. Even with a family, mortgage, career, there is always SOME time left for the hobby you love. As long as you still enjoy anime, age is no reason to set it aside.

I've had to quit watching anime for a while because of school and exams. I couldn't find the time to watch due to studying and homework. Now that exams are over and it's a new semester, I find the time I can to watch. Too many good animes out there to miss! :)

I could never stop watching anime forever. Anime is a very big part of my life. Without anime I would be depressed and sad the whole day because of RL problems. No thats simply impossible! I take short breaks but after this breaks I go on watching anime.

I do take breaks but stopping permanently is as strange a concept as giving up forever on music, games, books, television, or movies.

I know how to set priorities, by that I mean school and life -> anime, but I'd never stop watching it permanently. I did stop watching it for about a year when I was 13 or 14, but since then I've been watching it a lot again. Doubt I'll ever stop watching it.

I've taken some pretty long breaks before, usually when I get really sucked up in to a video game for a while or I'm just watching regular TV series and movies. But I'll always watch anime, couldn't imagine quitting such an awesome form of entertainment what possible reason could there be? Why miss out?

Same. I'm a JRPG gamer so anime is inescapable for me. lol
