Have you ever thought of stop watching anime?
Sometimes we get busy for a short period and don't feel like watching the on-hold series or starting a new one.
I got busy during my exams and after searching a little I can't find a decent anime, I feel like giving up and focus on other aspects of life and selecting other hobbies..
Well, that's me.
Has that ever happened to you? Whatever may be the reason..but you felt that This is the end?!

Yep. Even when I get busy and put all my series on-hold, the thought of stop watching anime never crosses my mind.

Not a permanent break from anime..but usually, when ever the video game season begins I take a break for about a month or so and play the hell out of whatever new game I've got. XD
..I actually just got back from such a break. lol

It'd be impossible for me. Even if I did what -Kazu does, a huge chunk of my games use Anime style graphics. Lol...

The only times I take breaks is when my computer is broken. Though if the wi-fi still works... Netflix... Anime... If no wi-fi.... re-reads Manga or re-watch movies or simply walk to library 10 minutes away...

It finds its way back somehow...

I would say that it has become my #1 hobby. I have other things that interest me too, and I might take a break if I get caught up in something else, but I don't think I'll ever stop.

Never!! I may take breaks, and have occasional bouts of not watching anything at all. But I always come back to watching it. I don't plan on stopping.

I'm experiencing that right now. Luckily the season is about to end so I will take a break once my current watches end.

I'll catch up probably about 3 weeks into the new season or something along those lines anyway.

Nope. Its not unusual for me to feel like I am wasting time when not watching anime actually. No matter what has happened, I have never considered stopping watching it.

I never really thought about it. I love animation in general. Watching animation is only one of my hobbies. I might not watch for few days or even a week but I never thought about giving it up. I might give it up one day but I have no idea when that will be.

When I watch a streak of crappy shows (recently Soul Eater, Ghost Hunt and Gunslinger Girl), I start to get frustrated with anime and usually take a break from the hobby. I always come back though...

Otherwise I'll practice my japanese, go on forums, practice guitar.

Well, apparently I'm in the minority here, but I have stopped watching anime from time to time, for months at a time even. Usually I go on a binge anime spree and watch tens of seasons of anime consequently then take a break for a few months to do something else, for example watching a show that isn't anime (blasphemy, I know). I'd even say that shows like Doctor Who and Breaking Bad are better than 95% of anime, but nevertheless anime remains as the most consistently entertaining and enjoyable media I've seen, and I've apparently seen a hundred anime seasons/movies in just two years.

The epic part in being an anime fan is that once an anime fan, always an anime fan. If you watched anime when you were a child and then stopped you happen to usually watch it again when you grow up. I love anime and I will never stop. <3

Yep, there are many times where I just can't keep up with anime/manga even on a weekly basis. But it's not such a dramatic thing that it will be the end of anime for me, just a brief period where I'm dedicating myself to other interests or just real life stuff. I know it to be true for me, but this can just be a phase for you as well.
You may be disinterested at the moment, but it won't be the end if you like anime enough.

I tend to take breaks for a couple weeks a few times a year. I'll have a season like this one where I'm fully caught up on a nearly daily basis (besides the days I'm too worn out from early work after having had an unrestful sleep the night before, or when I'm with friends all evening after working), and then I'll have seasons like a couple seasons ago when I was almost four weeks behind because I didn't watch anything for days.

It comes and goes, but as long as there is anime and there are figures out there to buy, I'll be watching.

Actually, I sometimes think it would be better for me to give up Anime completely, it would give me so much more free time and get me out of my room and off my computer. A different hobby would be much healthier and just as fulfilling.

But then I realise I'm addicted and it's impossible to go cold turkey.

Or of course you could take that opportunity to jump into something else that's just as withdrawn. There are plenty of other things to do on a computer than just watch anime that take up lots of time.

Saying that on an "Anime Discussion" forum on a website called "MyAnimeList" where many users have hundreds of anime on their lists is just asking for trouble, man.

I might take occasional breaks to go out tho. But that's only on rare occasions. :3

That'd be insanely impossible to do. My day doesn't feels complete if I don't do it. I'll only stop when I move to where I can't watch it no matter what.
But besides that, even when I'm absurdely busy, I still make room for animes. Even if I'm busy from 6AM to 11PM, I'll still watch anime until it's 2-3AM, even if I have to wake up early the next day too.

I won't get tired of anime unless all that comes out is only boring moe blob shit every season like Lucky Star and Kill Me Baby.

Or if I get too busy with life to really watch that much anymore except for stuff that comes out of the Gundam and Code Geass franchises. Never too busy to watch stuff from these two marvelous franchises I will make time for them. =D

If all that came out were "boring moe blob shit" as you put it, I would lose whatever life outside of anime I have left.
