Oh, and if you think Minene is okay with Yuki not being able to save Nishi, We haven't even seen her reaction to Yuki saying that it was okay beyond that angry face of hers. How the hell did you get that she was okay with it? |

| Yukiteru REALLY made a 180 here ... wish the anime had shown more peeks into this brutal brilliance of First during the first half of the series, which was pretty much Yuno kicking ass and him running away (understandably enough, he is a nonathletic 14-year-old). The weirdest part of it is, while this is Yuki after he's 'snapped', he just seems like a confident badass instead of somewhat who's quite mentally disturbed by now. Granted, 'insane' doesn't mean necessarily mean 'bulging eyes and drooling grin' ... The cop suddenly falling in love with our beautiful terrorist, Ninth, was amusing and did kinda come out of nowhere ... almost could've guaranteed he'd end up dead by the end of the episode because of it. Ninth was frankly adorable in her reactions ... such a tsundere :P Even with the episode kindly reminding us this is a woman who BLEW UP A MIDDLE SCHOOL just to TRY to kill two other diary owners, she's just too damn crazy awesome. I was pretty WTF with her getting impaled by Deus ... especially since they apparently both went on about their conversation like it never even happened. Which apparently it didn't. Or maybe Deus planted some seed of himself inside of her? There was plenty of symbolism along that regard. Maybe he'll possess Ninth at the end. Only a few episodes left ... I wonder if they'll use the manga's ending or make up a new one? Whatever happens, I hope we find out what the hell's up with Yuno's corpse and why Yukki is still sure she's the real one. |

Or that he shorted out the power to prevent Yuno from getting electrocuted with that kid. Or when he ran to save those three kids from the dogs. And all while keeping his wimpy nature intact. Yeah, I can see that as running away and/or inconsistent characterization. |

| Pretty cool considering how stupid this is, they justify lack of sense with awesomeness pretty well. Too bad the anime hasn't given me any reason to care about what happens to Mirene or Nishijima at all. This could have been much better. |

| Meh, not a bad episode. Although it did feel very rushed, and nishijima's death didn't really feel like it had that much of an impact. Like they just kind of walked away and that was that. Either way, the baby popping out of the cake was entertaining. |

I don't consider them directing fails, because Future Diary is an anime that just runs on cheese. It's not exactly high art. It's a B-movie put in anime form and given a non-existent budget. Who the hell really cares why 8th looks like that when you have a costumed freak as the 12th diary holder and a kid who can put a gas mask on from out of nowhere? To address some of your points though, Yuki had to let Yuno go to push her down, out of the way of the bullet. You do realize they were on there knees in the beginning when they were standing in the cliffhanger last episode, right? And no, 11th can't shoot again. The first shot was meant as a surprise attack that no one was watching and he could technically claim self-defense if people knew it was him who fired (and quite frankly, I don't know how he could hide it). After that shot though, Akise and Nishijima have their eyes on him, and being the mayor, he can't ruin his public image in front of a cop and a detective closely associated with the police. He'd have to kill them to hide it, but that would mean driving his own car, plus that's messier than just letting Yuki and Yuno go (the manga showed them running away on foot, so yeah, it was directing fail on the anime's part). And there's no way a second shot can count as self-defense in any possible way. |

| I can't believe how some people actually regarded this episode as one of the BEST episodes so far. To me, there are a lot of pretty glaring errors, not only in terms of animation, but also the script and the directing itself. Plus, the way they did the transition from the more action-packed scenes to the comedies then the sad parts was done pretty bad. Although as a manga reader, I did expect certain scenes to happen, but I still facepalmed so hard when I was watching this episode. Guess that's what happens when you merge 5 chapters together. |

Ever though of assuming that all of them work till all get destroyed and at the same time cause they have a super repairing system. We don't know how MAD of a scientist 11th really is. We do know of his IQ being high which may provide him the power to make tech that is advanced. |

I only did the first three because those were the ones I remember being explained in the manga that you don't quite need to read the manga to get your head around (for example, the scene where Yuki lets Yuno go and then pulls her down is actually seen in the manga, but even if you didn't read the manga, it's incredibly obvious). The others are stuff that I can accept because the anime is cheesy, but others won't because they want more logic in the anime (I don't get why), so there's no point in trying to justify those. And while half the stuff you thought makes no sense actually does in the manga, I don't like to use the manga to justify why an anime is the way it is. Especially since it doesn't change the fact that the episode was poorly directed. |
