My favorite show, Heroic Age i gave a 10/10 to. Though that may be because i personally loved it so much it kinda clouded my judgement a little bit... because other users seem to usually rate Heroic Age with a 8 or 9.

Kiddy Girl-AND and Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo are in my favorites.

I wasn't going to say anything but I checked a few of the shows mentioned so far and they all had more members.

Well, I haven't "officially" rated it yet, because I don't rate shows that I'm currently watching, but Touch is well on its way to being a 10, and MAN is that show under the radar. The thing is, it's a 25 year old rom-com/sports drama, which guarantees that no licensor is going to touch it, and fansubs will be few and far between. I don't give out a lot of 10s, but my god this is stunning so far. The only people who know of it are other old school fans.

Otherwise, the closest I can think of is Rumiko Takahashi Anthology (I didn't give it a 10, but a strong 9), which is not *that* old a series (2003) but man, it seems to be criminally underwatched. I think that the problem with that is that it defies most of the usual tropes we associate with anime- there's no ongoing plot, little in the way of action or fanservice, and the humor that's there is less broad than most anime humor and comes more from the whimsical little twists of life. It's "slice of life" in the truest sense-about the lives of everyday people.

By the way, Rumiko Takahashi Anthology is on the lists of only 1,419 members. I dare anyone to beat that.

Kachou no Koi. What, never heard of it!? It's the most amazing BL parody ever created! All made in flash no less! You haven't lived until you sow how fantastic this OVA is.

But seriously...

Gankutsuou.

I also gave Gankutsuou a 10 but it's definitely not unknown when it's on over 30,000 lists

Gungrave and Lovely Complex.

Well, i've never seen someone talkin' about Lovely Complex on forums , and it's my favorite shoujo ever. And Gungrave is a trully masterpiece, but it's underrated and also not popular for some reason.

Haha, I've heard of so many of the titles mentioned so far. xD
But I can understand people putting up popular stuff as "unknown" anime (cough-cough-Bakuman-cough). I love Yu Yu Hakusho, but no one I've ever spoken with has heard of it, but I know it's popular!

As for ones I'm sure (?) are less popular, but I rated them highly enough:

Hadashi no Gen
Ima, Soku ni Boku
A-Channel
Denpa teki na Kanojo
There She Is!!
Rain Town
Je t'aime
Kakurenbo
Otaku no Video

But I know many of you know at least 2 or 3 of these titles. ^^V

I don't think I really have many lesser known 10s. I had a look through my list and the ones I had with the lowest popularity on here were Kara no Kyoukai 7 and Planetes and neither one of those are particularly obscure.
As always, today is the most enjoyable day.

I didn't rate any of them 10's, but nonetheless I feel Karin(Chibi Vampire) and Ultra Maniac are underrated and tend to be under the radar.

I also find that, despite the popularity of the movie, a large amount of people have not read the Akira manga. I really do think that the manga was a lot better than the movie.

Well, the shows I've given 10's that aren't extremely popular...

Gintama' - #713 popularity, not known very well in America at all

Rainbow Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin - #508 popularity

Does Rose of Versailles count? I have no idea myself. Maybe not by my standards of obscure.

I have also seen Tsumiki no Ie.

I don't really classif Kaiji, Kino or Haibane as obscure.

In my 9s, I have Fancy Lala, which I did rate a 10 at one point.

None of my 9s or 10s can beat ArnoldK and the Rumiko Takahashi anthology, but I do have a couple of solid 8s which only have about 300 viewers each.

A very good space opera and love story in my opinion.

Depends on your perspective. It's obscure here, but in Japan it's a highly influential classic.

Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me
