| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Amata is being called terrorist. One of the male riders knows about the girl. One of female riders is teaching him how to battle, but the power is too strong. Floating power... people disguising it even "that woman". He fully released power with the warmth by the girl's touch. (element power?) Enemy has no choice to go back for now. And he considers the girl "the one for him" (1st day aired 60 mins., but considered two different episodes) After 2eps. airing, there was meeting with the producer. He kind of hinted that two main characters were sent to the academy like the riders of the Aquarion mecha in 3rd ep. |

| Relationships in this show is gonna be complicated. But just don't gay like the first season, I'll be fine. Amata is a bit of emo who needs some girls to back him up. But he kicks ass, so I'll forgive him. That Cayenne guy looks cool, but he's not cool. Just a big whiny guy. Mikono is a crybaby but she's lovely. Then Zessica! She's outgoing and with HanaKana, she sounds a lot like Char. I like this girl. |

| The episode was entertaining first time an anime episode felt like an OVA thats how good it was to me. The story didnt draw me in that chasity bullshit is stupid. This episode gets a 4/5 I'll cast my judgement if its worth the hype the first episode did later on. You know how Guilty Crown was good first episode the rest was shit. I bet next episode he does his predictable military training and it will probably go down here from there. |

| Hmmm I thin I heard somewhere that others will be reincarnated also.... right here it is: According to Kawamori, the story will take place 12,000 years after the first Aquarion television series at a city modeled after Hong Kong — which is the reason Kawamori decided to announce the project details there. A new cast of characters, piloting a new Aquarion robot, will fight enemies from another dimension. However, Kawamori hinted that the characters might be reincarnations of Apollo, Silvia, and the other characters from the first series. |

(since he could count as the female part, and hes the only 3-male fusion I can think of at the end) |

They could take a similar route like they did with the military and give them ulterior motives. Another thing I'm curious about is if Gen will take over as he's still alive. Towards the end of Aquarion they left some questions left unanswered for him. There's the possibly of him being the third pilot of Aquarion along side of Apollonius and Celiane (him still being alive pretty much confirms it). I also wonder if Rena will be in EVOL, as she's immortal and all of that. They may actually pull something like that going by the army guys reaction. It seems to me that he has some history with Aquarion. As for Rena she may just age ultra slowlyl but if she is immortal it will be interesting to see. And nice to someone else who has seen the original series TBH i still need to watch the movie. |
| So uh, since the episode was 42 minutes long I just jotted down my thoughts along the way. Overall, I really did like this, despite some raging in here. I'll PROBABLY watch until the end but nothing is guaranteed with me. MC's design is pretty fiiine for an anime character but FUCK THAT VOICE GOD DAMMIT SHU GOD DAMMIT. RUINS. EVERYTHING. cannot even deal with this guy whenever he opens his mouth, damn. GUILTY CROWN, RUINING OTHER ANIME SINCE '11 sort of like a cinematic experience - satelight's going all out on this one, you can tell this entire thing is FABULOUS MAX "I'd rather my body hurt... than my heart..." shit that was cheesy as FUCK bro, i cringed. it's hard to buy this pairing so early on and it's being pushed SO HARD that it's kinda... eh whatever, and i'm a person who LOVES romance. mikono is fucking ANNOYING. in caps. i really wanted to like her but yeah. she's kind of ruining it for me. "She's done nothing but whine this whole time" EXACTLY, thank god they called her out on it. ugh. okay she got a bit better towards the end so maybe she'll grow on me idk i WANT to like her so bad. all in all, i think this was pretty well made, there seems to be a lot of care put into it and it's possibly a bit of an "epic" but the characters are just killing me sometimes. i see vast amounts of potential, and hopefully it won't go downhill. the one main thing worrying me is the "aquarion" image this show has, and though i haven't seen the first, it isn't regarded as a great series. more like "that series with dat OP", which could very well turn out to be the same thing with its sequel |

| Oh. I checked the credits and I think I see the eyepatched guy is credited as "The Man on the Cliff" voiced by Fujiwara Keiji. If he is Fudou GEN or his reincarnation, it would be very nice. And if he assumes his commander position, it will be even more awesome. |

But just in the shadows at least till now. I think HE is the one who authorized the launch of both of the units knowing or at least suspecting(like anyones gonna buy that with the type of guy/character he is) that Apollos reincarnation was there and authorized/ordered it so Aquarion could be reborn. Oh and this episode is BOTH one and 2 so all you who have ONE episode marked for Aquarion EVOL should add in that second one. |
| anyways Gen has been alive for along time he was incredibly old in the first Aquarion so he is pretty much immortal. Kagura looks and feels more like Apollo than Amata, but Amata has Apollo's wings Anyways looks like Gattai among female and male humans is forbidden, probably cause something went wrong and normal humans can no longer control a male female fusion. Next episode looks like it is going to be pretty formulaic to the first series, which is not to say that it will be bad, but i will looking forward to the changes this series will bring. |
