| What i find myself loving most about this show is how Natsume's feelings towards being alone, and his affection towards the spirits join together as one, and that was perfectly demonstrated in this episode. The bond between Natsume and Tsubame didn't last very long, though it's one i'm sure Natsume will never forget --- he was finally able to attach himself to another, and he wanted to do all in his power to grant her wish. There was quite a number of times in this episode where i just couldn't stop the tears. What he actually wanted to tell Tsubame while holding her hand was just so damn sweet, i couldn't help myself. Then at the end, his tears of happiness after seeing her smile from the photo. What a beautiful way to end such an outstanding episode. That really was quite the experience. I'll forever love this special little episode. (Forgot to add a poll, could a Mod do that for me please?) |

| another great episode! i love how natsume tried his very best to fulfill tsubame's wish, i was touched when he shedded tears upon seeing tsubame's photo. besides that, i love the bond that developed between nyanko sensei and natsume, eventhough they refuse to admit it. |

| After being somewhat disappointed by episode 5 I didn't expect this episode to be so outstanding, probably the best of the series thus far and certainly my favorite. Once again Natsume Yuujinchou proves that being original isn't nearly as important as having heart. |

| Fantastic episode, the creators know exactly what they're doing and they do it perfectly. I'm becoming attached to this show, just like Natsume to the ayakashis ;) And it's a great success for an anime that I did not expect and that I didn't want to watch initially. |

| Favorite episode of any anime ever....still bawling. Knew what was going to happen already b/c I read the manga, but goddamn I could just not stop the tears. The bird thing just added to it for me. |

| Yep, best episode so far. This is the first episode of this series which made me feel like every single episode of Mushishi. I hope next episodes keep the same level and this show will be an easy 9/10. |

| oh mhmm i hope he develops a bond relationship like that again. it got me all teary eyed if only tsubame would stay with him.. oh also the yukata that natsume wore reminded me of hotarubi's gin and the festival of spirits (which is btw another work of the same creator) |
