I want to fit a 14 episode anime inside a 4.7GB DVD with high quality..I want to play it on Common DVD Players....
Could someone recommend me some steps or a good DVD Burning software for that?

You'd be better off spliting it in 2-3 episodes per disc if you want high quality.

Why DVDs though? I'd use an external harddrive and store most of my anime in that.

I want to share it to my friends....
Well, I use my Ext.HDD to watch my anime sometimes
But they don't know how to use that and they are afraid to use my Ext.HDD because
they might ruin it...

Then you'll have to either compress it into a .rar file or something like that and try to store as much as possible onto one CD. Storing 14 high quality episodes onto a ~5 GB DVD is pretty hard.

Well, then again if 720p or less was what you meant by high quality then it's possible to fight 13-15 episodes onto a 5 GB DVD.

First reality, most commercial dvds are dual layer dvd9s and that means you can kiss good bye 'high quality' if you don't burn it to a dual layer blank.

There is simply no point offering reasons like expense etc, because it is either done right, or you get lousy massively compressed discs.

Second, learn the specific blanks to use, yes it's NOT a brand name thing it is all about knowing the manufacturer. You read the labeling on the inner portion of the disc. Good pirates actually know where the GOOD discs come from.

Second, learn the proper burner drives. They are not all created equal. I have a Pioneer model that is considered one of the darlings of the pre blueray burner drives. Some hardware works, and some does not.

For instance, because my brother was thinking with his wallet instead of his head, he bought our mother a damned Sony dvd player for her TV. Sony is fine as long as you never want to play anything burned on it. Damned Sony's are useless for burned dvds. You often need a 20 dollar POS from Walmart to run just about anything.
While not technically anime, currently I am a big fan of Hatsune Miku.
At least I can go see her in concert.

Get the external HDD for transfer, copy to the target computer's internal HDD for playing. It's faster than encoding and burning.

Good discs are definitely important. Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden are probably the best blank discs that you can buy. Software wise, I'd use ConvertXtoDVD. I've used it for years now to burn stuff to disc. You definitely would be better off buying a DL disc though. I've burned Avatar on a single layer, but it's not quite DVD quality so I wouldn't try putting 14 eps on one disc if you want high quality.

I'd go with 6 episodes per DVD maximum, if you're encoding it to DVD video. If you're burning it to a data DVD to be played back on a computer then put as many episodes as you can until the disc is full.

He kissed goodbye 'high quality' the instant he typed 'DVD'.

The DVD burning program I have only allows you to burn two eps, but it does have a menu. You're better off getting a DVD player that can play .mkv video and .avi videos.

Just checking to see if you accidentally confused High Definition with High Quality.
