So the military begins to play the main part. So pity to see how the girls are fighting for the self-establishment.

I wonder what Aaerus Grandfather did. I mean she was obviously excluded after they found out about him, add to that that he seems to have knowledge about the ruins (which he told Aaeru about) and it all seems very interesting.
I hope the girls show the military brass who is boss and who is actually capable of handling the Simoun (aka these weapons of mass destruction) and their (seemingly) only defence against foreign invaders.

I feel like the government officials and holy people are abusing their powers more and more. Mamiina couldn't see the funeral because she doesn't come from a good family, and then I'm guessing Aaeru wasn't put in the mission because of that thing about her grandfather. This seems more personal/prejudice than strategic...

I guess the situation with Paraietta was bound to get to this. She's been getting more and more obsessive over the series when her feelings aren't reciprocated.

So the simoun could potentially travel through time, which is how Angulas could have ended up in the ancient simoun, going into the past.

There's been this "will they, won't they" scenario between Aaeru and Neviril for a while, partly the memory of Amuria being the obstacle. So I thought it might be amusing - considering for a moment that the emerald move of the simoun makes it work as a time machine - if Amuria actually went back in time, became influential in the society, and became Aaeru's grandfather. Neviril even said when she and Paraietta were dancing that "Facing Aaeru is like facing Amuria".

Haha just a bit of fan fiction, but it would be a nice development. That would at least make it possible for Neviril to move on perhaps, knowing that Amuria lived and had a good life. And then there could be a bit of romance too for Neviril, maybe with Aaeru :)

I appreciate the show but I think they went a bit overboard with the frequency of recap moments/flashbacks, we don't need a flashbacks to an event that was literally in the previous episode...and a while ago they started (admittedly very briefly) "recapping" the previous episode which is a bit weird but I guess there were some production hardships. Although the moment where Paraietta's "flashback" turned into "reality" with a kiss with Neviril (and a change of color palette from the "flashback" sepia) was a nice idea (that eventually led to Paraietta being too into "another world" and trying to force herself onto Neviril, basically she completely lost herself in her own fantasy).

Also I wonder why Yun was excluded, because of protesting the moving away of the body? (incidentally, she also made a "funeral ship"). Or is there something deeper about her background (I suspect there is)? When she saw the dead Sybilla in the ancient Simoun, I thought she saw herself (kinda like a premonition or something, or a death flag), and maybe the officials decided to not endanger her? Just my speculations. It really is just weird what the higher-ups are doing and what they did with that body that Mamiina and Yun saw.
