| Wow! It's been a while since I looked at the results of this thing. I'm not that surprised, really. Almost a bit surprised that there aren't MORE Introverted Intuitives. I agree that it is likely a mix of both the fact that you'll find Introverts on a forum more often than extroverts due to the safety of the form of communication, and that intuitives are likely to enjoy anime in general. Many extroverted types (though not all), are concerned with sharing the views of the groups they belong to. And while Anime is becoming more popular, it is still a widely held belief that animation is for children only, which causes many people to dismiss anime as a real venue for original, complex, and meaningful stories. Intuitives are more open to exploring the ways in which ideas can be framed and expressed. Another aspect I consider is that N's are likely to be more heavily involved with their interests, seeking out as much information on the subject as possible (which often leads to finding forums like these). While an S may enjoy something, they'll perhaps get a t-shirt, a poster, buy the dvd, look at a few pictures on a website, but usually aren't as interested in discussing things in depth and at length. Even Extroverted Intuitives may prefer having a real time discussion (or debate) with their friends about their interest, rather than formally write something on a forum and have to wait for a response. I'm sure there's even more to it than that, but those are my opinions and observations. In other news, I <3 INTPS, and am glad there are so many around this place! |
