| omg Soul's situation was hilarious xD Kid couldn't even finish writing his name and the more simple of the two sisters was just coloring her papers xD The other sister didn't really take the test either. At least she tried I guess. :D Those three are the best! |

| A funny episode once in a while, this time the DWMA student are having a written exam! Each character has their own way of dealing with the exam, I was hoping that Maka's relationship with her dad will be closer, especially after all those aura he blasted onto her, but Blair ruined it in the funniest of ways! I'm freaking done XD I love the characters even more! |

| The gags throughout this whole episode were golden~ This is definitely one of the better comedy episodes of the anime so far. Seeing Maka get the highest score and silently praying within herself that the rumored jinx about the first-placer creating a Death Scythe will come true was great but everyone else trying to pass but failing in their own special way was absolutely hilarious. Deathscythe just wanted to make his daughter happy for once but Blair screwed it up really badly in the end lmao |

| Omg tho whole test scene 😂😂 I'm watching it middle the night (3:42 am) binge watching and I was dying laughing the whole test episode lmao. The sisters was the funniest to me 😂 |
| Oh my god... I could not stop laughing throughout the exam scene. Once again this show brilliantly demonstrates how good its comedic chops are. And then it follows it with that photo album. Excellente! Edit - Also, what the hell?! Had no idea that Kana Nishino provided the second ED of Soul Eater. Color me surprised as fuck. |

| A perfect display on why they all hang out with each other just and it was cute seeing Maka doing the best at the test. Felt a little sorry for Maka's dad at the end. Very funny episode from start to finish. |
| This episode technically had less stakes than the previous one but it felt more exciting. I liked seeing glimpses into the characters' home lives as they studied Maka's dad is kind of an idiot but it's hard not to feel for him to a degree. Also, I kept thinking how funny it would be if Blair ends up becoming Maka's stepmom The new ending was also really nice! It reminded me a lot of those classic shoujo ending themes |
