| Come on guys, Kawamori is the biggest tree hugger in anime and a pacifist to boot. Of course Basara would sing to the whales. That's what he does. On another note, in the Macross universe, the Zolan are the third humanoid species introduced after humans and Zentraedi. |

| The OP, Dynamite, the new theme, was cool and the images too!!! Well, the development of this first Ova was nice, with a dramatic end, Basara flying in the space without suit!!!! |
| So Liza met Basara and almost instantly used violence. Could've just tried to bypass him, you know! Also how is Elma a fan of Fire Bomber if she couldn't recognize Basara from first sight? xD What's the deal with Elma opposing (?) poachers if her father seems to be doing the same things? He's voiced by the same guy as Count Monte Cristo from Gankutsuou, btw. Nice Engrish on Gamlin's PC: "SOWND ENERGY" xD Though I have a complaint that there was BGM during Basara's song when in fact he had only an acoustic guitar and no more instruments were being played. Oh and of course Basara got blown off into outer space without any consequences (likely) Nice ED though, I have an irrational affection for live footage in anime. Lol'd at Basara being rotoscoped (I think). P.S. Elma is awesome and I love her brief singing scene |
