Imagine the "shitstorm" had the Saints converted that TD.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE my Packers! That was an amazing game. Lots of memorable moments. Randall Cobb really showed his stuff.

only bad moments for me were Woodson punching and Tramon's injury. :(

WWRRRRRYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!

LOL, not a good idea at all....

OH WAIT....Green Bay just scored another TD...

DAMN 42-27.....I love how Al Michaels says these are the top two defenses in the NFC.

Well to be fair, these are also the Two top Offenses in the NFC, so stopping them isn't exactly a walk in the park.

Just got home from the Bears game (and Whole Foods afterwards). Today's a good day.

:3

Only two disappointments:
* No Hester return TDs.
* No jet fly-by over the stadium.

All-in-all. Great day. DA BEARS!

Cam Newton had over 400 yards passing, and 3 total TDs in his 1st NFL start as a rookie. Who could have predicted that? That has to be some sort of record. Although Carolina ended up losing, they seem to have found themselves a QB. Inb4 everyone picks him up in fantasy football leagues.

What's more surprising: Bills beating Chiefs at KC: 41-7 or Ravens beating Steelers: 35-7.

Wow, Newton really did some work today, came 1 yard short of tying the game. It'll be interesting to see how he does against some of the tougher NFL defenses.

Also, Ted Ginn Jr. absolutely destroyed Seattle with those returns! :o

Glad my Cards were able to stop Newton at the end, he did have a really good game. Our defense got ripped apart by a rookie. =/

i think cam newton eclipsed his total passing yards at auburn in one game against the cardinals...glad to see the rest of the nfc south got worked this weekend.

tbh after watching red zone all day today i really feel like packers-saints game had the best two teams in the league playing thursday.

but i guess we still need to see the patriots play

Romo.
Clutch.

Nope.

Also note: much of the Cowboys secondary were knocked out of the game, leaving it full of rookies on the field. That allowed Dirty Sanchez to move the Jets up the field.

At the same time, Romo derped. He derped a lot.

Mark Sanchez is insanely overrated, can't even comprehend how the "experts" continue to praise him so much. All that talk back during his draft that the Niners were a legit possibility for where he'd end up, I think I might have punched every pregnant woman in the world if things went down that way.

LOL, my Jets are doing it again.

Finding ways to win in the 4th quarter, Romo's such a nice guy fumbling at the 1-yard line, and then giving us the ball with 50 seconds left :D

Personally i think that as long as Romo is the QB, Dallas will never get to greater heights. :P (not that I mind since I hate them as well)

I don't mind the Jets with their hax luck if they keep on failing to get to the Suberbowl.

No guarantees....

As long as we have Henne as QB, he's liable to do more ridiculous shit than what Romo just pulled off.

Overall, I can't really complain....Thursday's game and today's games have showed us how great the NFL really is.

Can anyone imagine if the Lockout had continued....today would've been a very sad day....and NOT because it's 9/11.

Ah, the glorious distraction known as football (not soccer).

Yet, while being at Soldier Field today, I could not help compare an NFL stadium to that of a Roman stadium (in principle).

Both were extremely surprising can't believe that the Ravens stomped the Steelers like that. That having been said, GOOOOO BILLS!!!!!!!!!! It's nice to see the other team get the thrashing for once...

Also, seems like there were A LOT of upsets today. Anybody else notice that?

Finally, with all of the other teams in their division having super sketch quarterback situations, it's looking like the Texans might be a lock for the AFC South this year.

Ravens have had plenty of chips on their shoulder against the Steelers. So, that result isn't all that surprising. On top of that, Steelers losing the Super Bowl could potentially be a "Super Bowl hangover". (And I hope that's the case) :3

But the Bills? It could either be a case of the Bills being good ... or KC sucking that much ass.

I hope that hangover lasts them all year then...haha, I am definitely not a Steelers fan, although I live in an area where a lot of people are.

I hope it was a case of the Bills being good, Kansas City was pretty legit last year after all. I'm happy we got a win to start of the year though, last year I had to wait like two months for the first one...-_-

http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/boxscorefull?leagueId=365075&teamId=10&scoringPeriodId=1&seasonId=2011&view=scoringperiod&version=full

I do not see the Blocked Punt for TD scored credited to the Jets Defense. If you go to league settings, you'd be able to view what is scored; and you'd find "Blocked Punt or FG return for TD (BLKKRTD) 6". Meaning, it counts for 6. Thus, points scored for the Jets DST would be 18, instead of 12.

Unfortunately (for me), all 18 points for the Jets D are there. Fortunately, I drafted the Bears D, and they got 21 :D The asshole refs took a TD from Hester, grumble, but I still got 119 pts, with the Lawfirm yet to play.

As for the fantasy stats, well, even if your opponent has been crushed; points accumulated through the year functions as a tie-breaker. So, just makin' sure all that stuff is... correct.

Suddenly, the rule gives teams an advantage to the special teams phase. If a team is poor on either (or both) coverage or the return game, that team can very much be in trouble.
