| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Started watching it and TBH pretty honest it really is like the following anime: http://myanimelist.net/anime/838/Shadow_Star_Narutaru except change the dragons into the dolls. On one hand there is a very big breasted girl in the series and blood around it kind of like Shadow Star and it's going to get sometime brutal. While on the other hand the direction is fresh and we have more MOE again with the following girl,  oh noes more MOE! Anyway, looking forward to the action, drama and serious shit that will make me move my rage, sadness and my excitement. I also liked Hibino hugging Utao in the following,  it was to say the least heartwarming at how well Hibino received Utao in her home. So WTF do you all think about those dolls? I find them crazy but perhaps not as wild as those dragons in Shadow Star. This anime better have a crazy twist like Shadow Star had because that really mind fucked me back then in that series. Cheers to another nice series starting. |

| I certainly wasn't expecting something like this, although it turned out to be fairly good. The first episode was a little too rushed, but there is potential there. It reminded me of Narutaru as well. |

| I really enjoyed this. gonna recommend it to my friends. I'm really interested in seeing where this goes. Overall good first episode, loved the beginning it was real hooker, nice explosions and awesomeness. cant wait for the next ep :D |

| If I put it this way, there are 2 reasons why I would not watch this. Or actually 3, depending on how you count them. The male lead being as expected a complete loser and those ridiculously large boobs. On another note, it's been a while since I heard anything from Ishikawa Chiaki, so getting both OP and ED from her does give this show a slight bonus. |

| A great start that met my expectations, though the story can go anywhere at this point. Oppai's made me cringe, but Shiba is very pretty. Imouto is pretty adorable, but not as much as Yune :3 |
| Pacing was a mess like in Sacred Seven but otherwsie rather promising start. Narutaru vibes are strong here. |

| This was... completely different from what I'd expected. Still not quite sure what sort of show it'll be, but it was interesting enough so I'll keep watching. Nice to get a show about college students instead of more high school too. The OP and ED were great. Chiaki Ishikawa <3 Been a while since I heard her non-Seesaw stuff. Animation was all right. I'd expected a little better from Brains Base, but they're doing 3 shows this season so I suppose it can't be helped. Permablush was kind of annoying. It brought back memories of Hisashi Hirai's character designs. Do not want. Oh, and as for the lead being useless, I don't think he's that bad. Seems like he used to be Kukuri's master before his sister, but because of the events before the OP (maybe that's what turned Aki nuts?) he gave it up. I'm guessing he probably had way better control over the Doll than his sister has now. |

| Wow we're already calling the lead useless? No one's done anything yet calm yourselves. It was alright, but I feel kind of skeptical anyways. Seems like it could be decent or really awful at this point. I'll stick with it for now though. Also the robot kinda reminded me of QB from Madoka. I think it was it's arms looking like his ears >_> |

| I definitely found it interesting. The characters seem interesting and Utao is so cute. There is seriously a lot of Kawaii characters showing up this summer. The only thing that I have to complain about is Hibino. I really don't get why she needs such huge boobs, but she seems nice so I'll put up with it. She's just so skinny and those really don't fit her. I'm sure a lot disagree though... Anyways the anime looks promising so looking forward to it. |

| Not bad, but I really hope theres some characterization on kyohei's part (his attitude kinda gets on my nerve) lol for some reason i feel like some people are gonna ship aki and kyohei >_>; Anyways, aki escaped =o twice ._.; looks like the village might turn up to be the antagonist in this anime based on kyohei's reactions and all but alas only time will tell =I |

| Ahhh the OP&ED are great. I love Chiaki Ishikawa. And I see I'm not the only one who was reminded of Narutaru from this show. They're really similar, but I doubt Kamisama Dolls is going to even get near to how crazy Narutaru was. Still, this ep was pretty good and it's a promising start for the series. |
| So far, I found episode 1 vary intresting. :) As someone said, I to, think it was a little rushed. but maybe if it wasn't then, it might now have been as intresting as it was. Overall, i'm looking forward to the next episode. :D |

| Episode was okay. I'm already starting to doubt if I can finish the series with the level of interest I have in it already. I really like Utao and Aki makes for an interesting antagonist. Can't say much else is exciting so far though. |
| I didn't expect anything from this anime and it's by far the best thing released this season for now, with a very subtle, cliché-free script, fantastic characters, great OP/ED, and last but not least an amazing direction by Seto no Hanayome's Seiji Kishi. Too bad Brains Base don't have a budget, even this first episode was unimpressive animation-wise and plagued by low-cost CGI, I can't begin to imagine the quality of the mid-season episodes... | I didn't care much for the character designs or the weak male lead, but the show still looks and sounds great. I'm at least interested in what happens next. I wish they'd jettisoned the glimpses of perverted humor, though, since they take away from the seriousness of this show. |

| So I didn't know what to expect at all from this show, but overall it was a pretty solid first episode. A few things were rather strange... but I'm willing to keep watching. My full thoughts on the episode can be found here on my blog... But have to say, Aki and Hibino were pretty cool, and they had some interesting robots. I hope the other two main characters will do interesting things as well. |
| I didn't knew what to expect from synopsis, it took a nice pace and show a lot in one episode. Kuga is cookie cutter tusn-imouto spec. Still the fact that she can control Kukuri is rather amazing. It's nice to see a non-useless male character, a little to shy for been in college but one step at the time. Only complain, why make Hibino's boobs that big? interesting start, looking forward for the rest ^^ Oh and random fun |

| Decent start. I like the battle scene and it seems like the plot will be awesome. However I'm very surprised by Nobuhiko acting in this episode. He's actually playing a character that isn't screaming his lungs out every couple of minutes. |
