Is there a good Dracula Anime? Preferably with emphasis on the relationship between Mina and Dracula? I searched for Dracula and all I found were kids shows, but I found this picture on wallbase:

What is this Anime called?

There was some crappy anime called Dance in the Vampire Bund. It was probably the worst show SHAFT ever made...

FUUUUUl, I thought I had found hope :(
I am as of now reading Bram Stoker's Dracula, and I'm totally crazy for Mina Harker<3

To my knowledge, there is no anime that follows the classic novel. You are going to have to resort to film, the best of which I feel are:

Dracula (1979)
Bram Stoker's Dracula (1993)

Both have good Mina's. There is also a series of book from 1994 called Mina: The Dracula Story Continues by Maire Kiraly.

As for anime , try Vampire Hunter D. It bears little relation to Stoker's vamp but it is darn good.

Others worthwhile but bearing no resemblance to Stoker:

Blood+ - no relation to Stoker but a compelling story and engaging characters
Blood: The Last Vampire - action and gore
Dance in the Vampire Bund - anime sucks. I'm told the manga is good
Hellsing - Action and gore
Hellsing Ultimate - Action and gore
Hitsuji no Uta - Interesting take on the myth
Kurozuka - interesting
NightWalker - Mildly amusing
Shingetsutan Tsukihime - Interesting take on the myth
Trinity Blood - Kinda fun
Vampire Hunter D - pretty good
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust - very good
Vampire Knight - very "twilight" like
Vampire Knight Guilty - more of the same
Vampire Princess Miyu - actually, pretty good
-animeS - The plural of anime is anime. More than one deer is still deer. There is no damn "s".
-epic |ˈepik| noun•a work portraying heroic deeds/adventures covering an long period of time - adjective • heroic/grand in scale or character

I second Vampire Hunter D and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. It's quite old [original movie is from 80s], but it's damn good. Also, if I remember correctly, Dracula is mentioned in 1st movie.

Also, I don't recommend Kurozuka. It has about nothing to do with Vampires. It's a try to put together old times of Japan and post Apocalyptic days of Earth. They failed, imho.

All of lisnoire's recommendations are good except:

You were misinformed.

Not. An. Anime.

Blood Alone is also good if you're looking for manga.

Pic is form Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. Great game though.

For more generic vampire anime, try Shiki.

Also seconding Hellsing Ultimate. It does have Dracula, and will have some interesting interesting flashbacks, even a unusual take on the reasons for Vlad's hatred for the Ottoman empire. Mina may be present too (Can't recall, might have been in the manga's sidestory), though in a unusual and strictly prop-based role.

I've read the hellsing manga, watched the hellsing anime, and I think I'm halfway trough Hellsing Ultimate. The hellsing anime SUCKS, but the manga is awesome. And it does feature Mina Harker. Dead. Like dead for forever dead.

Oh how I would love to be Dracula, and fondle me some of Harker's tits. raWWWWWWrrrrrr.

There is an animated movie in production based on the Castlevania game series called Castlevania:Dracula's Curse . It might be close to what you're looking for though it's uncertain when it will be released.

Really.

And if you believe that MAL page, then you're going to love the new Madoka spin-off that Nitro+ is making.

not to derail the topic but you can try (if you haven't) Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula film starring Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder.

and for more vampire readings see Carmilla by Sheridan La Fanu, the one who influenced Stoker's novel. (beware of lesbian vampires)

in case you're wondering, yes, I'm a Dracula fan as well.

Or he could try reading Vampyre, the original vampire novel.
