| As for the original, I want and hope for a second season. It was one of my favorite anime and it hasn't finished airing. As for this spin-off, the youtube video with the new opening was funny, i think. I will watch some of it because I loved the original. |

On the same day, the opening video for the so called TV anime was released on YouTube by NitroPlusChannel. This opening is essentially the entire anime. The title is a clear reference to Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika, a TV anime which screenplay was written by a Nitroplus staffer Urobuchi Gen, who also got credited for screenplay for this anime on the official page. The characters that appear in the scenes where in the original OP are the protagonists and minor characters, are characters from Nitro+ visual novels (Sumaga heroines as Madoka's family; Chaos;Head heroines as Madoka, Sayaka and their other friend; Axanael protagonists as Madoka and her friends in gym class; Vampirdzhija Vjedogonia protagonists as Sayaka and Kyousuke; Ein from Phantom of Inferno as Mami; Kurisu from Steins;Gate as Kyouko; Saya from Saya no Uta as Homura). Sonico herself is the mascot of Nitro+ and the protagonist of the VN SoniComi. |
