THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

in the manga he told them to take a small amount of the money for their trouble, since this was their job. I wonder why they changed it for the anime.

also, they keep condensing things way too much, everything loses its impact :(
I really hope they don't keep doing this, its hard to enjoy when they keep crippling the climaxes :(

With all this build up, I really can't imagine how Maya will react when she finds out who "Mr. Purple Roses" really is... Hayami Masumi's actually a pretty great character. Didn't think I would come to like him.

And was that Sakurakouji in the audience? There was a brief shot of some guy that looked like him, though it could have just been my imagination...

The music in the play... I don't know. XD It was just really strange.

Didn't the troupe finish second in a national troupe competition? As well as selling out a small theatre all the time. Why are they suddenly acting like a highschool drama club that wanted to try acting in the real world.

And of of course Maya is going to be with Ayumi and Tsukikage again after being kicked out of her troupe again. The acting world in Japan is apparently really, really small.

And they keep dragging out this Purple Roses thing and they make it look like that's pretty much the only reason Maya is still acting. Not sure why she is so intent on playing in a play that was performed once a couple of decades ago.

I wonder why Hayami trying to cut Maya from the rest of the troupe? Either way, I don't think it's something sinister.

Great moment when Maya was wishing the purple rose came to say "Good job" and then Hayami came and said just that. It's a funny part of the plot that I hope won't get resolved until the end, since it's fun to watch, even when frustrating. But for all her talent, I would think Maya should have more fans by now.
