| Nice episode, I think this theme of hating each other and then coming back together will show up for a few more episodes before they move on to something else. It was nice in this one though because you saw that Hibiki was honest the entire time and Kanade just never noticed. Also, what is up with Hibiki's push-ups? They seemed a little... sexual :) |

| I want any sweets made by Kanade and her family, most people would kill to have even a cupcake made by them. Siren at least can have a disguise, however she needs to hire actual human help and not those three goons and she won't be so obvious, let them come out when Siren is discovered and only at that time. |

| We all know Kanade is making cakes to see Hibiki's smile. Dat undertone #1. "I'll eat hundreds of your cakes, just for you!" Undertone #2. "I'm the number 1 fan of your cakes!" Undertone #3. "That's the precious cake I made for Hibiki!" Undertone #4. "I made cakes because I wanted to see your smile, Hibiki." Ha! Knew it! Hibiki feeding Kanade. Undertone #5. "I love your cakes." Kanade blushes. Undertone #6. NOW KISS! I think I need to remove my goggles. |

| I got some unintentional comedy out of how overly obvious and corny the scene making the cake with the faux famous chef was. Siren is more of a goofball than I thought. It was pretty unimpressive all around tbh, though not outright bad I guess. I'll probably get a better feel for what this iteration is going for in a few episodes, once we've established the friendship bond Hibiki and Kanade have more strongly. The cakes looked gorgeous, at least. Mahou shoujo is often (though not always) a genre you have to have a little patience with. |
