| for me, absolutely FF VI I like the fact that it have so many characters, yet most (if not all) of them have a strong background story and characterization and the main villain (Kefka) did actually successfully destroyed and rule the world and FF VI have Utros! |

| To be honest, I haven't played many Final Fantasy games. I played X a long time ago while over at a friends house. Don't remember enough about it to make any real judgments, but it looks fun. Other than that I played XII and XIII. I hated XII. Hated it. XIII on the other hand is amazing. So, yeah, XIII is my favourite. |

I too am a big Kingdom Hearts fan. I just couldn't connect with the characters or the world and the story felt lame. The combat was boring too since with the right gambits it pretty much played itself. I enjoy open world games a lot but the setting for XII didn't interest me at all so it was never fun to explore. |

| I enjoyed playing Final Fantasy III too much. I finished the game several times and it's the only FF series I've ever finished playing. And I barely started playing Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. |

| FF VI is still my favorite of all time... if I were to line them up it would go Still have yet to play FFIII, FFXI, or FFXIV... though I doubt I'll play either of the online ones. EDIT: Just realized, if we're allowed to deviate from the main FF series, then FF tactics is far and above the best FF game out |

| ^ Second FF X. That is the only FF game that i truly put so many hrs into, and im taking several hundred hrs, trying to master that sphere grid. Yeah I had all the time in the world to play video games when i was a kid. Before that would probably be FF VII. Its the very first polygonal 3d rpg i have played and it truly took my breath away at the time i thought it was the greatest graphical achievement in the history of video games. It was pretty much the game that got me started into rpgs in the first place. After FF VI. |
