| Depends on the person you are talking to and whether it is relevant to the conversation. Wouldn't talk about how they are doing and then be like "by the way I fucking love anime", but wouldn't deny it and would bring it up if I thought they liked it as a conversation point. Post shit about it on FB and stuff so can't be that much of a secret. |

The only person I've ever had an extensive discussion about anime with that wasn't already a close friend, was someone that had watched Inferno Cop. So, for the most part, no. I don't really feel the need to shove my hobbies into people's faces, no matter what they are. |

I'd just say "Hi?" and Continue what I'm doing because it'd be too random for me to say it. I'm pretty sure I say that I like Anime way more frequently than most people, Anime is basically the only television programming I watch now. I'd have to say that 20% of the words I say every day have to do with Anime, so people don't really need to be told that I like it. But I tell them anyways because I'm evil! >:D and like to talk |

| On the internet, sure, I will say it, but to people at mah school, I find it to be too embarrassing. There's really only two kids I know IRL who probably know I like anime. One sits at mah lunch table everyday, the other kid I know caught me watching Lucky Star in the hall once but said nothing (instead he attempted to steal mah charger), but I'm sure he knows I watch anime now. |

| I don't go around my school asking people if they've watched the latest episode of Naruto Shippuden. That is just way too embarrassing. It is considered weird to watch and like anime, most likely because it's in Japanese. Watching anime is a hobby so it shouldn't be looked at as something weird. I mean if you take an English dubbed episode of an Anime and showed it to a friend, they'd probably view it as a regular cartoon. |
| There's nothing embarrassing in looking at anime. Sure, some people still think it's for kids but you wouldn't be talking to them about anime in the first place, so why feel embarrassed? And besides, we all know that anime can be silly as hell to more serious and action packed than most summer blockbuster movies. |

It's not like when someone introduces themselves to me they add "I love anime and manga and especially these characters from..." or whatever. It's a good way to set yourself up as a weirdo. |
