What are some interesting (known) paradoxes you've come across?

Or ones that seems like a paradox by intuition, but isn't?

I remember randomly checking up on the list of paradoxes on Wikipedia, but that just isn't as fun as talking about it with random dudes on the Internet about it.

The most recent I've become fascinated with was the birthday paradox (when it's, by probability, not actually a paradox, I think? :<).

I think the first popular paradox I've come to known was the liar paradox, which was actually in a Yugioh episode, I think. Another memorable one is the Catch-22 paradox. I remember writing it down just to explain to myself how it's such a stroke of genius.

I hope there aren't some terribly too difficult for me to understand in this thread, but I know I will be flustered. :(

My first paradox was the one I used to play around with when I was a kid:
Opposite Day
Or maybe chicken or the egg, but that's not a paradox to me.

Recently, I've been interested in things like being your own grandparent. Scroll down and see the Real Life example. I'm not sure if it qualifies as a complete paradox, though.

The most simple is time-zero of the universe. Newton's laws state that objects do not simply start moving, they are acted upon. Time-zero requires something more to have happened for atomic particles to suddenly erupt out of nothingness and create something(ness).
While the Laws of Physics are applicable for all intents and purposes in real life, entirely new rules will have to be made for space-time (hence quantum physics)

Diamond-Water Paradox, Diamonds the most useless thing in the world is massively more expensive then water which is the most important thing in the world.
It doesn't think, it doesn't feel, it doesn't laugh or cry..... All it does from dusk till dawn is make the soldiers die.

I was almost going to mention that grandfather paradox, but I didn't want my opening post to be as large as it already it was. Though I didn't find that very interesting since there needs that assumption that time-space only has one continuum, or something, rather than the parallel universe hypothesis, which I like more. :s

I remember learning somewhat beginner-ish that most of his laws are a bit too ideal for practical use, and is kinda obsolete nowadays.
