| Yuu Yuu Hakusho ftw~ My first real anime was DBZ but I didn't really enjoyed it that much back then. Yuu Yuu Hakusho was the one who really got me addicted to anime, it set the bar for me on watching the likes of Flame of Recca, Hunter X Hunter, Naruto & among others. |

| My first anime was Sailor Moon on Cartoon Network when I was about 5 or 6 years old. Yet, the anime that got me hooked was Naruto. Since i'm going back in my memories, I might as well mention that my first manga was Yu-Gi-Oh!, but I didn't realize it was a manga when I got it because I was around 8 yrs. old and never heard of manga until I was about 10 yrs. old. Yeah, I was an idiot back then xD |

| For me what got me hooked was bleach, i watched like 2episodes of it on adult swim think it was the episode in soul society just befor they were breaking in then i got tired of waiting a week for each episode guessing JP was way far ahead like other animes and was glad to find out it was very far ahead. Then came death note and eureka seven. |

| i can't really remember i just know i was at a relatives place and he was really into anime, i just remember him watching some anime that seemed slightly futuristice with a guy who had a left arm that had some special abilities and could turn into weapons, i thought it was FMA so i watched that and well it wasn't... then i watched FMP because i remembered he watched that... but really the only reason i watched anime was because i was looking for that one anime, and well i've still never found it... i just remember some random scenes like he is trapped in some room and uses his arm to cause an explosion and runs away and i think the ending was like him and a buddy riding on a mortocycle away from the city... idk maybe half of that is made up... but yeah idk... if anyone knows what i'm talking about tell me!! |

| Star Blazers!! Especially since my older brother loved it too. However, like a lot of people in my age group, Akira really changed the way I viewed anime. It made other cartoons seem well... cartoony. And to many North American kids it was the anime title everyone knew of. |
| It first started with Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Shaman King, and Cardcaptor Sakura (even though I didn't know what anime was at the time). It was in middle that I learned what anime was and I then started off with D.N.Angel. |

| A mixture of Dragonball Z and Pokemon (pokemon being the worst example of anime imo, only now I've found so much better ones) Then it was only a matter of time really. This last year has really taken off with anime for me. Naruto was the key. |

| When I was 5 years old I got to see Voltez V, Mazinger Z and Daimos (oldies). Got to see too much American cartoons like G.I. Joe and Transfromers etc but in the late 90's was able to see Akira and Ghost in the Shell. After that, it's been Anime all the way from You're Under Arrest, Chobits, Wolf's Rain, Dragon Ball-Z , GTO and GitS: SAC ever since. |

| Sailor Moon got me started... but Slayers - The motion Picture was the one that really got me hooked it was awesome seeing Lina Inverse blasting a Dragon Slave against a vile demon for the first time... that really influenced me I think (that was over 10 years ago) |

I remember reading about Anime/Manga in a Nick Magazine when I was in the 5th grade, but I never saw any other anime... My first REAL Anime that got me started was Azumanga Diaoh in the 7th grade. i think that Avatar also pushed me to anime, but it isn't really considered one.... |
| I started with Pokemon/Digimon back in the day, but I don't really consider those actual anime... I got into dubbed anime around 1999 due to Gundam Wing, but I stopped around 2001 because I lost cable. I quit anime for about 6 years and finally started watching it subbed around 2007 again because my friends kept pestering me to watch naruto. |
| The first anime I EVER saw was My Neighbor Totoro. I was really little though and hardly remembered it. Little Nemo was also a movie I used to watch a lot as a kid. The first show I ever saw was Sailor Moon, and then Dragonball Z. I didn't really watch anime that much until I discovered Veoh last year and started watching Kanon 2006. That, and MAL are what did it for me. |
