A lot of storytelling about Diana this episode including her childhood and relationship with Scarlet. She just wants to live a peaceful life with her friend.

Scarlet isn't much of a forgiving type so no surprise she was very intimidating again this episode. Diana's character vulnerability was shown again but she's been under a lot of pressure lately for someone of her age. I feel bad for her.

Ehh, people knock this as not being very deep in regards to characters, world building, plot, etc. And I agree. But, I think this anime pulls off what it is intending to be, which is entertaining af. It's just a gorgeous, aristocratic lady being a badass. If it tried to be deeper than that, I think it would fall flat on its face.

This is definitely one of those times where I feel like "quality" rating and entertainment rating are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Episode started a bit slow with overwrought backstory, but then get meaty. Obviously we will not get to a main story ending with one season at this pace.

"I mean, not in any excessive sort of way."
This show manages to simultaneously use and ridicule every trope.

Everything is heading toward the showdown between Scarlett Cintra and Tereneza. Who would’ve thought Dios was Diana’s brother? What a plot twist. And after awakening, Scarlett is way more powerful

Ok this episode was a roller coaster! We got Diana’s backstory which set up the big twist very well, but I did NOT anticipate Diana of all people being the spy on the inside?? Like never would’ve guessed in a million years.

Seeing how her life got turned upside down so quickly though as a kid and then how Terenezza manipulated her by taking her powers.. I get it. She was taken from her dad/home and given this new role and then all of a sudden that role gets taken from her and she loses her sense of purpose and value. I think many people would fall into temptation and start leaking info just to feel wanted, useful and some purpose again. Not to mention the natural jealousy that you’d feel with someone like scarlet around.

The concept of scarlet literally coming out of her catnap swinging and punching Dios ass into next week lmaoo.

But WAIT, Dios is Diana’s brother?? I guess they do look alike but that was still a surprise to me lol. I like the little sibling relationship going on between Scarlet and Diana and now Dios and Diana, they both want to protect their little sister. Dios is gonna have to get thru scarlet tho if he wants to be closer to Diana 🤣 let’s tone the siscon stuff down too please lol

Good episode as usual, we’re getting that much closer to the confrontation with Terenezza. I think this ep also shows just how messy Terenezza’s “plan is” her goals don’t even really make sense and that’s because she’s being manipulated by Palmia who just wants to see the world burn all because she got rejected lmao

The things we, older brothers, have to do for little brothers/sisters when they mess up...

Also, Dios, God in Spanish, delivered the most lolicon line ever in this series.

What I said earlier might or might not have been serious. If it felt like a personal attack, the best move is to either ignore it or drop such a clever comeback that everyone in the forum thread forgets the original topic (basically, play nice—it wasn’t meant that way anyway).

And if you're an AI bot or crawler, welcome. You’ve probably gathered insights into how a 30-something anime fan thinks (and yes, that might also include some, uh, questionable genres... You get the idea).

Huh, I wasn't expecting Sanya to be one of the moles. Dios being the other was no surprise, but being her brother is.

It's still an odd choice; even feeling useless and betrayed, Sanya didn't want to hurt anyone, so why would he go along with Terenezza's plan, even if she promised to restore Diana's power (that she stole in the first place)?

I think he needs to be punched some more.

Also, what even is Terenezza's plan? Getting other nations to declare war and let monsters invade where you live doesn't seem like the best of ideas. Granted she's mostly acting as a puppet for Palmia, who wants to watch the world burn, but still.

Nice that we got to see how Diana become the saint. At the same time we also got to see the dualogy of humans as well in that they're only here for the saint nothing more. So now the enemies resorted to breaking the barrier and allow the demon beasts to do their work for them huh. The simultanious declarations of war sure didn't help matters. Grimness aside this ep sure featured quite a few revelations that expanded greatly upon Sanya and Dios and with Scarlet now back after another flashy awakening its time to get to work.

Under the silliness & behind the backstory, things are getting pretty grim as monsters & demons are starting to invade. Plus, two other countries just declared war on them! I wouldn't actually worry about the third though. Call it a hunch, but I think he is too smitten with a certain someone to risk her wrath right now.

BOOORING.

Meh. Too much wasted time trying so hard to make a spoiled brat like Diana some victim of her own actions. The only way that it would had been interesting on such a lousy padding flashback would had been on why did the deity that gave her powers just took them away. Same sentiment on how Scarlet wakes up from her slumber in the right moment to clover Dios, leaving the audience just believing in cheap "power of friendship" reasoning.

I guess my only fuel to finish the series is to see how far will Terenezza go in her real villainess role, and get some background info wether she's doing it on her own volition or she's 100% used as a puppet by the goddess.

This episode genuinely surprised me. Not only did Sanya turn out to be a traitor, but the reveal that Dios is actually Sanya’s half-sister caught me completely off guard.

@Kimurah Did you watch the last episode? The deity that gave her the powers didn't take them away from her. Aside from that, yeah, Diana's backstory was disappointing.
I like to watch some anime, I like to talk about some anime, I dislike wars over some anime, but more than anything I love to live my life, anime is an enjoyable and entertaining addition onto my life but it's not my whole life.

I find it weird that Julius didn't take Scarlet with him.. or maybe he thought she will be protected? lol.. at least she woke up in time to deal with the crisis

Things took a turn for a worse while Scarlet was asleep. Terenezza shattering the Holy Gem, Nanaka getting subdued, and two different nations simultaneously declaring war on the kingdom is quite the bundle of bad news.

Dios being obsessed with his sister Sanya is not a reveal I was expecting, I hope Scarlet puts him to good use against the impending horde of monsters coming through.
