| I really likenhow coach challenged him to score in different ways to get him more engaged with soccer. Dude has been tge best for so long he's clearly getting tired of it. That being said Haitani isn't "better" than this guy, not overall anyway. This was a pretty good chapter but I feel like was wasted in the main school, we didn't need to see them this chapter and the panels of the actual matches are still lacking. |

| While the pace of the match was worryingly fast, I must admit I am rather more intrigued in seeing Haitani come face to face with Oshimi and the rubix cube kid again. But that just has me thinking, why not just go straight to that battle instead of this filler one inbetween? We could have had the same developments for the opposing team that Oshimi is coaching in a flash back, or a cutaway during the main cast's first battle. And Haitani could have his revelation about the rubix cube kid in the locker room or whatever. That being said, that spread with Haitani juking his opponent was sick as fuck. Really hope this manga stays around longer! |
| Not a fan of this chapter. & Honestly atp, this series, or any of its characters. The only thing it really has going for it is the art, and even that isn't enough to carry it. Gave it a fair shot but now I feel it deserves the axe, rather than usually instead you'd expect someone with a series you've chosen and kept up with; you'd be rooting for. But no, at this point I want it to end and give the opportunity for a new series to take its place. If it's axed around 19-21 I might just about make it through the remaining chapters, might have to drop off of it for now tho, incase it ends up going for 30+, I'm definitely not enjoying it enough to keep going that long with it. I don't think it will last that long, but just incase haha. If they were brave they'd axe this at 17, and honestly it'd deserve it. |
