| I did expect it to be good thanks to the preview (which got me to look forward to it unlike usual when I pass this kind of specials) last episode but it surpassed every expectation I had, a total SURPRISE deserving 10/10, and totally deserves to be #2. This was literally a special about us, the fans, the long-time diehard fans more than anything, it's SO much appreciated. But it sets up for the upcoming remaster as well. What sucks is that we probably won't get any new content for a long time, probably not till 2026 (and I hope I'm wrong, GET BACK TO FUCKING EGGHEAD ISLAND, ALREADY) I'm not sure if it was announced or not or if they caught up with the manga or whatever going on with Toei but it seems they're going to remaster every single New World arc for now. EDIT: Nvm I should've checked first: "The anime had a hiatus from October 13, 2024 to April 2025." Since the remaster version of Fish-Man Island arc will have 21 episodes it'll realistically should end in 13 April, meaning the main anime most likely will return on 20 April. Both glad it won't take until 2026 and for the remaster of FMI and sad it'll take about half a year for the main anime to return and for the fact we won't get remasters for the following arcs atst lol |

At the time I am writing this, this episode already has a whopping 3.1 % 1 ratings which puts it on the top 4 of most rating bombed entries by percentage in the top 20 (after not even 1 single week no less). |

At the time I am writing this, this episode already has a whopping 3.1 % 1 ratings which puts it on the top 4 of most rating bombed entries by percentage in the top 20 (after not even 1 single week no less).

We've had enough of this scapegoating placing more blame on a fandom than it actually deserves, now it doesn't even make sense.
