You know for me in season 1, I found the villains to be boring jobbers. They felt like they are only there to lose while making the hero look good. Season 2 has done a good job giving them more of a spotlight. I Don't think they're jobbers but deeply confused kids following a madman while not realizing he is an abusive asshole. They're giving some layers to these characters and I just find them a lot of fun. I hope we keep getting more of the show as I feel they have something with all of these villains.

Well I mean as far as we know most of the villains are basically just confused and weak kids.

The only real exceptions have been stigma, Utsuro and Tzveta

I like all of the villains but those 3 are the standouts.

Stigma obviously cause he’s the main villain. He has a very ominous aura to him and we still don’t much about him anyway

Tzveta I really liked more as just a character. Her backstory with Pesha was really compelling and seeing her die last season was sad but her final moment with her daughter was sweet

And Utsuro right now is probably the best written villain and one of my favourite characters. Although I guess technically she’s no longer a villain.

So I’m short as characters I love them but none of them are really good villains. Which I mean is intentional because most of them are just kids/people with weak hearts they’re not really villains

So again Stigma is the one I’m most curious to learn about considering he feels like an actual villain instead of just a kid with a weak heart

@Phantom_373 I'm interested to see where they go with Stigma as they have something there. I thought the handling of Mai was pretty good. I think they did a good job of transitioning from heel to face very well...just wish the pacing was better for that. I also think Tzveta is really good as she is like the most casual about this whole thing.

The biggest issue of this show overall is that it is a totally poor man's MHA. Not only it tries so hard to be like that popular shounen, but it also unfortunately airs at the same season, so comparisons are inevitable and when compared, this show is mediocre at best.
Villains are no different. They are not intimating, but actually annoying. Especially that green goblin. Each of them have that generic and boring "world hurt me, I will hurt it back" Freudian excuse and goal, they have very little to no bond and comradeship and overall it's hard to take them seriously.

@Piromysl I found it funny how people were trying to say it was better than MHA when it isn't even in the same universe. It's a good show but I do agree it is a poor's man MHA. I like the villains personally but the major issue for me has been pacing and handling of Shy's character. She has been a lot better this season but it is clear the author is MHA's homework. I do wish the desire to get Mai to stand down was sped up.

@Saimatsu_Fan It's very kiddie. the MHA comparisons happen due to it airing when MHA Was airing and kind of the same premise and concept a little minus the school.

I just hate the gay kid. He annoys me so much I want to gouge his eyes out and rip his head off.

@Piromysl Both are very similar in that they are both mediocre at best. Idk about later arcs for shy but mha manga is an abdolute shitshow for the last 200 chapters or more.

i lol'd irl

i have to agree, even despite being in love with Teru, i honestly i don't care much for anyone else.... EVEN WITH the mostly female cast of both heroes AND villains, this show is just TOO FUCKING SAFE

you know if an anime is mostly women fighting and i think its mediocre, theyre fucking up somewhere

too much sob story and not enough slugging eachother

i said it before, NO ONE is talking about this show and NO ONE WILL BE when its over... only people like me who have something to simp over are going to still think about what could have been

I feel like I am watching the Care bears dressed in hero costumes, this anime is laughable and I can not understand why it got a season 2.
