| 11:17 pm and I knew I had to stay up to watch this! What can I say that hasn't already been said? Brilliant episode, still lots to come for Luffy vs Kaido. The Hiyori scene was great but I felt like we could've wrapped it up in an earlier episode. Gotta go to bed. I will rewatch this episode tomorrow just to twerk even harder. |

That ED was great hope to see it in future episodes and some of those expressions from luffy where very goofy, hoping animation stays at the same level for the rest of the fight but doesn't seem likely. Also that hiyori scene actually fitted pretty well into the episode was not expecting that.  |

Only the Gear 5 scenes were worth the hype, and one sequence of those was repeated too. I have a feeling that Ishitani only worked on the ED. |

| This must have been the worst thing I've ever seen in anime. Last episode was bad enough with Luffy dying except PLOT TWIST: he's alive hurr durr and he gets a cool power up to beat Kaido out of fucking nowhere. This episode just fucking ruined the entire series. Not just the fact that the rubber fruit isn't just a random fruit but actually a super powerful fruit the world government has been trying to find for 800 years making the main character far more special than he should be, but ON TOP OF THAT the out of place cartoonistic awakening makes the series a mockery of itself, ruins all tension and will ruin it forever in every next fight with "gear 5" and if that wasn't enough they spent a whole lot of budget in this episode making it absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to follow with all the fucking eyes popping out every 10 seconds and all the movement. Luffy was already a stupid main character. This power makes him an actual clown. Much more of a clown than Buggy ever was. This actually made me depressed. 1071 episodes. What a waste. Every time I see someone starting one piece now I'll have to tell them "no... stop... go watch something else... it won't be worth it." Even more so now than when it was only 1069 episodes. |

| Considering all the hype heard for this episode for multiple weeks, wasn't too interesting for me when watching it and didnt like the abilities that the rubber fruit had displayed here. |
| This did not live up to greatest episode of all time claims. I loved One Piece pre-time skip but that love continues to be fading post time-skip, and I did not find this episode to be as enjoyable as what it is trying to make itself out to be. I don't know, wasn't feeling this one much. The abilities are ridiculous and not in a completely fun way. |
| LIVED UP TO THE HYPE. I predict the next 2 episodes will be WAY BETTER! I never watch this when it comes out, this time, I had to! Godlike episode! |
