Why has Fullmetal alchemist go so good reviews, I don't understand it.

I have been struggling through 10 chapters, and it's boring,  little action. Han really, really bad humour. 
I don't understand the popularity. Is this all. Poor art, and slow story, with an  unfunny plot?

I have read, Blame!, Attack on titan, Alita Battle angel, Berserk. Where the story is great from the beginning.
But this , really really average. 
Is this an series that's grow and get great?
Or if you dont like it after 10 chapters I have no hope to like it?

The starting chapters are pretty weak. At least for me, it gets better later.

Did you read the chapters about the chimera guy? Those chapters are amazing. Bad Humour… Hughes is hilarious! Bad art… try some of the best character designs and facial expressions.
BEASTARS Season 3 will be the best anime ever :)

It’s gradual, slowly being introduced into the world and such, if you’re willing to give it a chance, you’ll get a satisfying result, that’s what happened for me anyways but just take take your time

I don’t really understand how anyone could hate the art in FMA. It’s super clean and the paneling is phenomenal

If you didn’t like the first 10 chapters, I don’t think you would like the rest of the series… but you should at least finish volume 4. Volume 4 is the climax of the beginning of the story.
BEASTARS Season 3 will be the best anime ever :)
