| I've watched the Sword of the Stranger and still say the battle against Kagura and Yomi in Ga Rei -Zero- is better. Maybe it's just because of that one part where Kagura uses her sword to shoot Yomi with that case. |

| Any fights with Kenpachi are quite awesome. But my favorite has to be Sasuke vs Hachibi. He was using like 7 swords at once. Amazing. |

| Despite the flack the series gets, Bleach's Ichigo v.s. Byakuya still ranks as one of my favourite battles since I watched it (and that was a while ago, when the episodes first aired). I must also second Balsa's fight in episode 3 of Seirei no Moribito. And the battles in the Benizakura, Yoshiwara, and Itou arcs in Gintama, as well, were pretty awesome. There's also Teresa v.s. the other Claymore in, well, Claymore ^^; |

That should count for something, right? I aggree! The moment with Juro 5 vs 1, would have to be my most favourit melee combat scene I can recall. Even tho its not swords but spears vs spears. It was a very nice natural melee engagement ^_^. I thought Ga Rei -Zero- was a poor anime and the action scenes were mostly bs.. But thats my opinion. |

That should count for something, right? I have to agree with this. While the fights in Moribito are few and far apart, they are still amazing and they always manage to get my heart pumping. That being said, the entire final scene of Sword of the Stranger was awesome. |

| How about knife fights? Darker Than Black and Kara no Kyoukai had some epic knife fights. I don't watch too many action animes, so I don't really know many sword fights. Kurozuka has some nice sword fights, though. |

| I count this as a sword fight, even though his body only produced steel. Zoro VS Mr. 1 from One Piece. While the end of the duel was too abrupt, it rocked my socks off. Also being drilled through the stomach was pretty hard core. o.o; |

| ninja scrolls first episode with the turtle persona nd pretty boy was epic, but all the fight scenes are amazing in that series. |
| Nanashi vs Luo-Lang, followed by the final fight in Samurai Champloo and as short as it was, Gintoki vs Jiraia in Gintama was niiiiice, as was Kagura vs Abuto and Gintoki vs Hosen and all of the other action sequences. The Shinsengumi vs Choshu at the end of Peace Maker Kurogane was real nice too. Especially the sequence where the camera pans around Kondo as he slashes down enemies. |

| My favorite ones are definately basically all battles involving Shiki (Kara no Kyoukai), the last one in Sword of The Stranger and the ones in Unlimited Bladeworks. |

| I gotta say, Sword of a Stranger has some of the best animated fight scenes I have ever seen, they're just astounding. I mean, some of these are so epic, and the main guy doesn't even have to unsheath his sword. However, they do get a lot cool when he does. |
