It's funny how people can be overly grossed out and even fearful of animated (and censored) vomit, but are totally fine with extreme blood, gore, and violence depicted in not only the same animation, but the same episode itself. This might say something about the way we separate reality from fiction. Most of us have never experienced true gore, blood, and have never been subjected to extreme levels of violence in our daily lives, but almost every person has had the unpleasantry that is feeling sick and puking.
