Not a fan of her, actually one of the reasons I strongly disliked manga later. She is also one of the characters I hate most out of animanga. I get she might be interesting for some people but she was pretty transparent with her true intentions since the first time she appeared and I really don’t get how some people didn’t notice. If the story wasn’t revolving around her, I’d like CSM better.

i absolutely love her. she’s a villain that does her job well and fools the audience and the characters well. fuji did a good job of telling us how and why she both a) ended as she did and b) how she ended up like this all without trying to justify it to me. he explained but never excused. nayuta would be and have what makima never did and what she craved for and hopefully she’ll be better for it.

average design aside? i like her lots.

i don’t think she is coming back or even SHOULD come back because her story is done sadly and its nayuta’s time.

Yup, Makima is in my top 10 characters. I really like manipulative villains. They are one of my favorite types of character in media. Makima is an absolutely fantastically written villain as far as I am concerned.

I like makima cause I think she's a great villain.
Very few villains in animangas have made me curse them the way she did. So yea, she's a well written character but i dont like her in a 'simp' kinda way.

As a character, yes. I think she is one of the best written antagonists we have seen in a while. I don’t understand the simps for her though. Reze is obviously best girl.

She has killed a lot of my favourite characters. If Angel is confirmed dead then I will hate her even more… she is a good character though despite the mass murder

Denji could’ve been manipulated way more efficiently without the fan service; it is only there for the sexual fantasy of CM. I brought up Satorou because he has a way more interesting personality, where you are always wa ring to know more and more, and bg design he is an entertaining character that is very active. It is one thing to be powerful but you have to make it interesting. This is like how Superman is too powerful and Doomsday was created solely to fight him because canonically nothing could take on Superman (it’s different now though). Makima just feels too predictable and her motivations seem really plain given what extremes she goes to. Also I am really confused how devils become good at all because most are downright evil to the core like Makima but for some reason Pochita a super powerful devil is drawn to Denji because he wants boobs and Makima obliges him? You think she would just torture his emotions with NTR stuff and get him jealous to really give him a drive. Pampering him only makes him less motivated because he is given a good enough reward to stifle his motivation.
