"boys' comics", also romanized as shonen, shounen or syônen) is an editorial category of Japanese comics targeting an audience of adolescent boys. Not sure why u would copy paste wiki to reply to my comment I even gave a eg of another show which is reverse harem again published in shonen in above comments. While i have not seen this show yet, but i assume trick is the amount of comedy |

But IMO this show is wayyyyy more like shoujo in every way. This is actually something that really annoys me about modern anime. There's barely any shoujo anime compared to what we used to get. Everything that would have in the past been a shoujo gets presented as shonen nowadays, its maddening. I'm not saying girls cant enjoy shonen or vice versa, but I think its ridiculous how the standard is now for boys first and everything else second. I can only assume that you haven't actually watched the show with this sort of mindset. |
