Was waiting for this at midnight. Looks like it will be twelve episodes!

Fairly funny. The show is very expressive with its facial animations. Hopefully Anzu can keep trying to reject the bishounens, but it already seems hard with Tsukasa at the end of the episode with the classic, "umbrella in the rain" scene.

It's really leaning into the comedy bits and has that 1950s-style "prop" and character animations that add to it (backpack frozen in place as Anzu tries running away, circle legs/feet for running, etc.) Anzu & our "antagonist" wizard are great foils for each other. Really hope domerica can keep the quality high since this seems to be their 2nd "main show" even though it's listed as an ONA

The comedy was decent but can be better. Let's hope the couple would have a different or unique love story.

No, they are all released now.

It was ok for me, pretty average and nothing exceptional or terrible about it so I will give it a few more episodes.

That's one loud fmc, way too loud to the point it's annoying. I don't think I've ever heard Rieri voice any character like this before. Anyway an okay premiere, hopefully later episodes will be better.

Weird series with "mahou shoujo pet" who forces someone to... (what a bully).
Especially, our female MC is rather... unexpectedly otaku~ish and a glutton, and lastly, CREEPY (to say the least).
She's already a lost hope for me. Her character is a mash between an American character (from a comedy point of view) and a Korean character (from actions of unladylike) from a comic series.

The art style is decent enough like I'm watching a Korean or China animation and more likely a comic one. Not bad but I'll see what this ridiculous and random story plays out.

P.S. The 12 episodes are already UP in netflix.
It can be watched... I guess it's time to binge it...?! lmao
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

The tags don't lie, it's a straight up shounen, even if it has a FMC and an obviously shoujo premise. I'll give it a few episodes.

Amazing. The main character is so goooood. She's so expressive, so exaggerated. Girl MCs never get to go to the lengths the animators push her. And it's hilarious. I'm constantly laughing. Everyone should give this show a watch. Don't let it slip into Netflix oblivion.

I just read the first chapter of the manga yesterday and i couldnt believe that netflix dropped the whole thing. It was so funny and i love how expressive everyone is. Takashi Rie is doing an amazing job and the different animation and art styles elevate the whole thing.

see a voice actor who is already familiar, but here it disappoints his voice like a bad girl or something, at the beginning of watching it was really excited, most of them talked about comedy at all It doesn't make you laugh, for the quality is also bad, the coloring is dull, sometimes I like to ask myself this is the modern era but why is the quality the same as the old 90s anime

I wish she didn't wear crocs, but, other than that, Anzu seems like best girl material.

Not a super strong opening, but there were some amusing moments -- like her dad being apart of the post office but moving to America. Riri did her real dirty by taking away her cat though. I mean, is the cat okay? Is it being fed? It just seems like, of all the things to take, the cat was the one I was most iffy about.

But, overall, I'm hoping the show comes into its own as we progress and it settles. I definitely like the idea, so I want it to do well. I want to enjoy what I'm watching.

The OP/ED are quite good as well.

nice episode. I like the MC girl very well. Lots of Dio poses in episode by each character. The ED is especially well synced that you cant miss it.

Lol also lots of absurdities acknowledged. I am also satisfied that the wizard explains things that keeps the setting consistent, like how it camoflages itself and its speech to user. They didnt need to do that, but they still did it.

What makes it shounen other than the tag? The comedy?
It's a shoujo premise, but the execution here is simply shounen, it's a romcom with only a side emphasis on reverse harem. The art style here is easily more reminiscent of shounen than shoujo, the exaggerated masculine comedy leans more shounen, and both the direction and emphasis on the "hot guys" is sterile enough to be palatable as shounen, rather than being aimed at a female audience. To put it simply, the show doesn't have enough feminine charm to be classified as a shoujo.

After watching the second episode, I agree in regards to the comedy, main girl doesn't seem like a shoujo protagonist, that being said I feel like most people that will watch it will be girls anyway.

Also did you dislike it because of the shounen aspect?
I didn't mind that it was shounen, it's certainly an interesting idea to aim not just a romcom, but a romcom with a side of reverse harem, towards a male audience, I can't help but be intrigued by something like that. However, I can understand if someone is disappointed because they expected a shoujo, as people were even ignoring the shounen tag before the show aired, and insisting it was a shoujo, and it just came down to magazine changes that altered serialization. As for me, I did like it quite a bit, but the latter half of the series didn't work for me at all, but I seem to be in the minority on that.

So far, I'm enjoying the humor and the main character more than I expected. Curious as to where this story is going to go. As much as I enjoy romance, I don't want the main character to feel forced to be in a relationship in order to be happy.
