I think their is a lot more to Denji's character than just being self insert for Fujimoto. I think "Fujino" and "Kyomoto" from Look Back feel way more self insert for Fujimoto than Denji ever did. Denji is just a character who is written as a personification of the Maslow's hierarchy of needs. We see Denji going through each stage throughout the course of the manga. It doesn't feel all that self insert to me. |

Denji overall is a simpleton without any ambitions other than eating toasts with jam and getting Makima's favour, who completely exploited his kind nature and basically enslaved him. He is totally relatable. Can't wait for those threads bashing Denji that he is cringy simp and comparing him to Kazuya. I can already tell it will happen. XD |

Similarity between Denji and Grelle - Has chainsaw - Has shark teeth - Demon/devil same - Simp (only difference is straight vs yaoi) - Pervert face blushing face when they thinking of feeling good doing naughty things |
