| IDOLiSH7 Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii Skip Beat Given (it's BL, but one of the rare good ones) Carole & Tuesday The iDOLM@STER Starmyu (the hilarity of the characters randomly bursting into song is one reason to watch the series. Another is that it's actually a decent watch) Dance with Devils (the hilarity of the characters just randomly bursting into song like it was a Disney musical had me in tears with laughter!) Dream Festival Show By Rock Gravitation (it's BL, not that good and the Seme ML is a douche. Yeah, but it's funny at least. And someone made a HILARIOUS parody video that I'll post below) |

| https://myanimelist.net/anime/12149/AKB0048 is an interesting take on censorship by Kawamori Shouji of Macross fame from a script by Okada Mari. Evil galactic empire wants to suppress entertainment, which harkens back to actual events in Japanese history during the Tenpou Reforms. Successor group to the actual AKB48 fight back with guerrilla tactics. Not many mature voices though. All the songs are covers of actual AKB48 numbers; this clip segues from Aitakatta, a song of welcome, to Shoujotachi-yo, a girl-power anthem, after the bad guys arrive.
