| Netflix just kept on recommending DxD and I have seen its name in many harem recommendation posts on the net. |
| I thought I should watch it because it was kinda popular and I thought it was about demons and fanservice is a secondary part but fanservice was the main thing in Highdchool Dxd. My habit of completing every title made me watch almost all the titles of dxd but 4th season was too boring. So I dropped it. |
| I had known about DxD for about a year or so before originally starting it in 2019. I always wanted to watch it but I was reluctant cause I had only seen very few ecchi (censored) and hentai before and the cover (yes, the MAL cover) made my pp hard and inside I thought "uohh! ecchi~! O///O" and that it was going to have a lot of sex (lmao). I watched the first episode in December of 2019 but didn't continue it. I started it again in 2020 since I finally had the motivation to do so and it was a blast. |

| I stumbled upon it by chance on Hulu and had no idea what it was about. The first episode was quite shocking for young me due to having never seen an uncensored anime before, and the rest is history. |

| It had the ecchi tag. That's all I need. My issue is that it doesn't hold up. It's a series a lot of people start off with, but I was about 50 - 60 ecchi deep when I watched it, and it wasn't exactly interesting or good by the standards of someone who isn't totally new to the genre. It's pretty conservative and the huge emphasis on its battle shounen-like narrative winds up detracting more than adding anything, especially since the H&E elements were already pretty weak on their own to begin with. It's weak at two different things, but putting the two together lends itself to maximizing audience accessibility to a genre a lot of people are put off by. Basically, it's baby's first H&E. It succeeds at being very accessible without sacrificing being an H&E, but it's still uninspired and comes off like the equivalent of an H&E made by a corporate focus group. It works if it's towards the start of someone getting into H&E, but I don't think it holds up very well if you don't watch it early. |

| I like participating in anime watching challenges, the requirements of which sometimes leading me to watch stuff I would otherwise never touch with a 10 foot pole. Being someone who's not exactly part of the target audience for this, I didn't have high hopes when I picked it up a few days ago, but it turned out to be entertaining. I enjoyed the battle shounen-esque elements and unlike some other harems, it had actual romance in it. It's definitely not one of the best anime I've seen, but I liked it and am willing to watch the rest of the seasons. |
I watched 4 seasons of this anime. Not for tits, but for this cao cao guy: Hot and is voiced by toriumi Kousuke :worryfap: |
