| Well, that was quite the ending. I’ll admit, it impacted me a little less since the ending was spoiled for me but nevertheless, this has been a rather entertaining journey. I enjoyed Togame and Shichika’s dynamic, even if I wasn’t super invested in their relationship. The character dynamics were definitely the highlights of the series. The one thing that really annoyed me about this series was the constant recaps. Either it was a creative decision or the author was scared that audiences would forget the story if they weren’t reminded about it every month or maybe writing 12 light novels consecutively lead to the author cutting some corners and swelling his word count. Whatever it was, it was very annoying. Maybe I’ll check out the anime for this. I usually don’t but the artstyle and animation make me want to check it out, just for the heck of it. |
