How Much Of The Manga Does The Anime Cover?

Once episode 12 releases next week, I want to read ahead in the MDUD manga but I have no idea where to start from. I don't want to read the parts of the manga that have already been adapted into the anime (or at least not for now) so I was wondering if anyone knew where I should start reading to get stuff that hasn't been in the anime yet

The manga has 73 chapters so far and I’ve seen ppl saying that the anime will adapt till ch 39.

Yeah. It’s pacing to end on chapter 39. So hopefully come the end of this current arc in the manga (or possibly the next one), there should be enough content for a season 2. 2024 maybe?

Are they cutting much? I read like 25 chapters ages ago and I’m gonna watch the anime but when I’m done I wanna know if I should start the manga again or carry on from the anime

i read the manga and i feel like ch.39 is a good stopping spot for this season and i feel like this anime follows the manga really well!!
