| A lot people singing praises for this change in the first few replies I read but I honestly think this is a terrible idea and implementation. Studios are comprised of people, fluid and constantly changing, and most of the time not even actual employees of the company that everybody is favoriting. By and large we should not be celebrating and championing *companies* when it's the faceless and nameless people behind the scenes, that in many cases are freelancers and not associated with the companies in any other capacity. Obviously, we'll never know the exact impact of each individual animator and other staff members that are included in the credits, or even the names of everybody involved. But this isn't a solution to that, IMHO it's just creating another problem. We can already celebrate many creatives, actors, etc. with the "Favorite People" section, and it should just be left at that. A move like this is reductive and will misinform people new to the medium of how the industry operates, while "stealing credit" from the people that are actually deserving of our praise. |

| Is it just me, or have certain companies just straight up vanished from https://myanimelist.net/anime/producer? So far I haven't been able to find Tezuka Productions, Studio Colorido, Zero-G Room, and a few AIC subsidiaries (there's probably more, these are just the ones I noticed). The pages still exist if I go to an anime's page and click on them, but they don't show up under the full listing. Hoping this gets fixed soon, since I search from that list a lot. |

| Enough time has passed to conclude that you wasted your time adding that feature. Favourite Anime/Manga/Characters/People worked because people can choose between thousands of worthy entries, but there aren't even have 50 notable companies to fill the first page of the list so you end up seeing Hentai producers in there. |

| Why did I only notice this now? :D One of the most needed changes. This really has been missing. You listed the companies in the anime details page ... and clicking on them only showed a boring list of anime created by that company ... and no company page. Great that they seem to exist now. |
