And in this anime, they are clearly playing of the fact that Rimuru's gender and sexuality are never specified, thus they bring out more feminine/bisexual quirks out of him. In the end, it is an anime about a fucking slime living with goblins and onis together to raise a town, so whatever Rimuru is it shouldn't be that a big of a deal to you. |

| Rimuru is a slime and none of the forms it mimics have sexual organs or other signifiers. The human body it ate was of a woman and that is the basis of its appearance but it has nonetheless no biological sex. Whether or not Rimuru identifies as male based on its old life doesn't really have much bearing at all and even if it would, that's irrelevant for choices of clothing. |

| I don't get most people here, was he a man? yes, is he now a sexless slime? yup. What does that have to do with the human body he uses everyday? I would need to rewatch the exact episode(which I forgot which one was it) but to my knowledge he is just using mimic on Shizue(not sure he can make up stuff to change appearance to), so he is sexless man in a female body. |

| Stop making pointless threads. Everyone who watched Tensura already know all that. He used to be a man before dying, and in this world he's a genderless slime and the reason for his feminine appearance is Shizue. Also, him wearing cute outfits in this SoL series is partly for fanservice and mostly due to him playing along with Shuna, Shion and others who thinks he's the cutest thing in the world forcing him into wearing everything they make. |
