The story is close to main point

There are a lot of plot points that we, and the characters don't understand tho, but this one is probably the biggest one. It's not as easy to understand as in the first volumes. Since 2-3 volumes the story has evolved A LOT.

Saddly everyone is taking the info from Mogura's tweet, but don't know where its from (at least I don't, proabbly a sentence in this Jump Square Rise's Spring issue), and don't understand it... It's the bush telegraph.

The serialisation rythme being like that isn't new, we had a 2.5 years old hiatus, and Katsura Hoshino said she was at like 60% of her story in an interview published less than 5 years ago... If I say that it isn't going to end soon, it is because I know the manga by heart. Trust me, they could have ended it a long time ago. There isn't any 'garantee' of anything, but if you read what other fans say, being on Twitter, reddit, or youtube, none believes that it is ending soon. We all agree that it was bad phrased and nothing more. Having read chapter 240, I know what it means. D.Gray-Man is going to explain to us one of the major plot mysteries (whitout it, there wouldn't even be a story to start with), by so closing to the end of an arc, major to what's coming next. But by solving questions we have, it brings more confusion to be cleared later. There still is a lot to tell. Don't understimate Hoshino's ability to make up a good story.
