| I don't think there's nothing wrong with this as long as it's not in a sexual way. I mean you can still like whatever you like but people on the internet these days tend to being touchy almost about anything, even if there's no problem so it's better to be careful in case you want to avoid drama. |

| Then stop calling them shotas and lolis if you don't like them in a sexual way, because they are terms specifically meant for sexualized child characters in anime. The word loli comes from lolita complex, derived from the book "Lollita", which is story about a middle aged guy having sexual relationship with a 12 year old girl. And shota is a male equivalent of it (not from the same source ofc). |

| You can be a shotacon/lolicon without having any interest in children. Their is an overlap, but one is not always the other. You can think of it as being equivalent to the difference between a furry and a zoophile. |
