| 8 and 7 are similar to me, it's 9 and 10 that are truly great |
| An 8/10 for me is an anime that made an impact on me. I asked myself questions regarding the show after or just had an overall great time filled with emotion while watching it. Despite this, it still has some flaws which cannot be overlooked. A great show I would reccomend to anyone. |

| Just like it says a very good anime. One where I think it does many elements well but there are maybe a few flaws holding it back or it doesn't do something particularly amazing that bumps it up to a 9/10 for me. It's just about how flawed I think it is 6/10 show I liked very flawed, 7/10 show I like with some notable flaws, 8/10 not many flaws but they are there and noticeable etc. 9's and 10's can have some flaws but they usually do something really spectacular that is hard to find in other anime plus again the flaws usually are pretty tiny if they exist. |

| Best way I can decribe is a anime that clearly did something special but you can't say it's among the best you've watched. Just like any rate, there's also the possibility of reaching the next level, but its flaws dragged the experience down. |
